Smart people know what's under Australia's soil, but dumbarse Australians prefer to sell goldmines for a bag of beans. :roflol: :roflol:

This dumbarse mentality has been part of Australia's intellect for nearly half a Century, and still counting. :roflol:

The whole communist dream is bunk anyway, the market will adjust and the value of the dollar will always pin itself against the balance between supply and demand. But the world is getting soooo complex these days!!

People seem to be able to only deal with so much, before it gets too much and starts throwing chunks into the crowd and all comes unstuck in a firey smokey pile of ash. So if society wants to advance, and take people with it, it might have to lift them up. But people only value what they value, so for a mandatory wage type government safety net sufficient to meet middle class living I think they'd need some serious social commitment, to the laws and nation. This might have to be national service to earn the citizenship (and therefore a life wage) and not entering crime. This might let people focus more on complexity required to succeed in the world without getting bogged down in worrying about survival.

That though means class divide.... but people gotta be responsible for their actions, so as long as its fairly managed the class is an illusion, and its actually only representative of that persons choices in life. So levels of wage perhaps, if your not in prison then you get enough to live even if your record is terrible. Breaking the rules costs society money, so its only fair that is offset at the perp.

Australia didn't need the Communist dream to own and sell its own natural resources to become the richest country on the planet. It just took someone with intelligence, and some forward thinking to see the possibilities of what Australia could have become. It would have taken an intelligent Captain and an intelligent crew, who could seen the vision, but Australia has had neither for over half a Century. Clowns changing face paint every three years with the same tired old performances is all Australians has gotten.

The real dream is thinking a country can sell all its natural resources; Ports; water; land and utilities to foreign ownership, and financially stay independent. :frown:

I seriously hope these clowns realise that you can only increase personal tax and business tax so much before people finally revolt.

Remove the fake cultural wall and stop pretending there is an Australian culture.

Australia does not have a culture different or separate to the British. Climate does not create a culture. Australia should open its mind to all cultural influences.

Does your philosophy apply, even if a modern Australian culture has to devolve to suit an antiquated culture?

Are you implying that Australians should chuck away their modern ability to light fires with matches, and return to rubbing sticks together, just so Australians can make other antiquated cultures feel better about themselves?

I am shocked. Are you suggesting Australia should forswear evolution from digging holes in the ground?

What on earth has matches vs rubbing sticks together got to do with culture. That is technology. The definition of culture in this instance is
    merriam-webster-dictionary - culture

It was very interesting to note from your link on the full definition of culture how you only cherry picked point 5, and not from any of the other 6 points, to demonstrate the simplistic nature and features of the Aboriginal culture.

Was there a reason why you didn't reference any of the other significant points in the link to demonstrate Aboriginal culture, or didn't any of the other 6 points apply?

Was there a reason why you only addressed the attributes of one culture, and not both? Considering both were being discussed?

Unfortunately, Australians gave up their rights to gun ownership after a mass shooting in 1996. It will be recorded in history as one of the biggest ruses politicians ever constructed against the Australian people. I suppose you don't get any rewards for being a dumbarse.
