    So it looks like Trump had an affair with a porn star. Whats your opinion on porn stars, generally speaking? Obviously theres at least a few of each, but which is your initial, knee jerk reaction when you hear about one in the media?

    Although I consider the porn industry to be a highly degenerated one, it is not a career that oppose on other than puritanistic grounds. At the end of the day it is their body and there - apparently - is a huge demand for porn stars, so why not? However, it is rather hypocritical that government outlaws prostitution and at the same time allows pornography.

    Not much, if any reaction. If that is how a gal wants to make a living, so be it. If she has the body and wants to show it off, fine. Sex sells, always has and always will. I am one of those who think prostitution ought to be legal. It's their body, let them have complete control.

    My opinion is they are not 'stars' and should not be referred to as such. How about porn actors and actresses instead? My knee-jerk
    reaction is who cares? When I hear about this one, I feel bad for Melania who must be disgusted and fed up with his bullsht.

    There are obviously industry-wide abuses, but that is true with oil companies, agri-business, and the pharmaceutical industry. As far as the individual is concerned, they may be victims or they may be exploiting a niche driven market for profit or they may be both.

    Couldn't vote - the answer I would favor is between option 1 and 2. Some are in control, but it's the minority, or the newblood. Most of them lose control due to drugs, environment and general excess. They can be easy persons to manipulate, and many people do - these people, those that profit from it, are the real degenerates here.

    Did not see my opinion listed. My opinion is I do not care if someone makes their living being a porn star. I just would never marry one. Or any woman that would look like a porcupine if she had as many penises sticking out of her as she had stuck in her.

    Would you feel differently if 'Stormy Daniels' revealed that the Trumps were swingers, and her 'services' were for the couple, not just the man?

    Its not unheard of, and its no secret that Melania has been photo'd in sexual contexts with women.

    I'm for legalising it, better control and health conditions for prostitutes... having said that I would be lying if I said I'd befriend one or invite him/her into my home...

    Even the 'stars' themselves? Do you feel the same about strippers?

    Not all in porn are on movie sets with directors. Some are just couples (or singles) with a webcam and a subscription algorithm.

    What makes a business illegitimate or not but its state designation as illegal? As far as I know, the porn business is perfectly legal but for some local or state regulations such as the occasional zoning ordinance ( x number of feet from local schools) or its access to minors or whether the product is sent across state dorders etc. if you know of broader scope bans that have survived constitutional screen, please direct me via links.
