Yup some liberal "scholars " think homosexuality is ok. Jesus taught one man and one woman til death or infidelity.

Uhhh, the word malakoi even in modern Greek means homosexual - which was frowned on even in Greece since it meant effeminate. The relationships between men in ancient Greece were in a totally difference context. Besides why would Jesus mention homosexuality when He was speaking to the Jews? It would have been highly insulting to them since they had very stringent laws.

Look, no one is stopping you or anyone doing whatever you want, (as long as it's private and doesn't offend the sensibilities of others), but you can't worship the flesh and call yourself a Christian. It would be an oxymoron since Christianity is of the spirit not of the flesh.

There are plenty of other cults you can adopt like for instance the 'Rites of Dionysus' (Bacchus), where you can drink, party and do what ever damn thing you please, or you can worship Aphrodite (Venus) the goddess of love and indulge yourself in whichever way you want. Why this obsession though with Christianity when you're not is beyond me?

Enjoy what you are, and not what you're not.

I don’t subscribe to any cults that worship imaginary beings.

And no one cares about your phony ‘sensibilities’. Keep them in the privacy of your own home

That was an outcome of Vatican II, when Pope John XXIII gave more power to bishops so they could adhere to the culture, and the American bishops did just that. They adhered to the Protestant culture which at the time was switching from its Puritanism to liberalism, so they ended up with a bunch of liberal perverts.

That should work both ways then, so don't complain when your own sensibilities are offended.

What specific verses did Jesus say one man, one woman until death or infidelity?

I don’t, until your ilk attempt to impose their values on the unwilling. Keep yours in your home and we will do the same.

    Until then... it’s fair game

Incorrect, I have nothing against with worshipers of Christ.
Unfortunately many of you don’t stop there and believe it should be forced through educational or institutional indoctrination or worse through legal principal.

Christian Godfather Jesus himself said in Matthew 19:14:
"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’[e] 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.

    Divorce
31 “It has been said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.’[f] 32 But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

One man, one woman for life or adultery.

Hell divorce apart from adultery is likewise wrong.

I'll do more research i don't remember everything off the top of my head like this one.

You were raised in a culture (denomination) that discarded everything 'Roman' and needed something to adhere to, so it became the Bible - which at that time was available thanks to Guggenheim's printing press. But the Bible is merely a book compiled by the Fathers/Saints of the Church. These Fathers could not ere in their compilation of the Bible, nor in their interpretations since they were enlightened by the Holy Spirit. It's their interpretations that became the doctrines of the early Church.

We are all sinners, and no one is judging you. But without recognizing yourself as one, and without the humility of repentance, how can you be in God's Grace?

He'll only accept the words of Jesus.
He mistakenly believes that Paul, one ofvthe foremost biblical scholars of his day is wrong regarding his Christian teaching.

Christianity can't be forced on people. It can be facilitated though through baptism and through the prayers of others, but whether one becomes a Christian or not is really their own choice. In order to choose it though, they have to know about it. So how can they choose something they don't know anything about?

Ask the Roman emperor Constantin I.
The people under his rule had to convert to Christianity or had to die.

That is a bunch of garbage. Where do you people learn your history anyway? The massive persecution of Christians started with Nero and then went on and off for almost 300 years until Saint Constantine stopped them in the Edict of Milan. Most Christians were able to avoid persecution by paying homage to the pagan gods, but many thousands preferred to die.

In the Roman catacombs where the Christians were hiding, they began to worship around the coffin of the martyrs, and it's these coffins that became the forerunner of the altars in our churches today.

Besides being put to death the Christians were made to serve as objects of amusement; they were clad in the hides of beast and torn to death by dogs; others were crucified, others set on fire to serve to illuminate the night when daylight failed. Nero had thrown open his grounds for the display, and was putting on a show in the circus, where he mingled with the people in the dress of a charioteer or drove about in his chariot.

    • Persecution under Nero (c. 64-68). Traditional martyrdoms of Peter and Paul.
    • Persecution under Domitian (r. 81-96).
    • Persecution under Trajan (112-117). Christianity is outlawed but Christians are not sought out.
    • Persecution under Marcus Aurelius (r. 161-180). Martyrdom of Polycarp.
    • Persecution under Septimus Severus (202-210). Martyrdom of Perpetua.
    • Persecution under Decius (250-251). Christians are actively sought out by requiring public sacrifice. Could buy certificates (libelli) instead of sacrificing. Martyrdoms of bishops of Rome, Jerusalem and Antioch.
    • Persecution under Valerian (257-59). Martyrdoms of Cyprian of Carthage and Sixtus II of Rome.
    • Persecution under Maximinus the Thracian (235-38).
    • Persecution under Aurelian (r. 270–275).
    • Severe persecution under Diocletian and Galerius (303-324).

That doesn’t say one woman and one man only. It is speaking of marriage.

The Bible is such an interesting book. I changes meanings depending on how you feel, the events happening around you — it always sees to have the answer you are looking for but then it fades into other context when you are not looking directly at it.

I just wish more people followed it the way Jesus would have intended.

What is worshiping the flesh? Are you claiming that being gay is a form of worship?

Do christian sensibilities allow sexual desire, or does that cancel your christian membership?

Trump failed to get any dirt, but sad he even tried - Trump seems to be a failure at most things he does
