Whether you realize it or not, the fact is you've been duped.

The US political system is nothing more than a sophisticated fraud meant to funnel money from productive Americans to a parasitic ruling class.

Probably the best example of this is the military-industrial complex that Eisenhower warned the country about, a warning which the country proceeded to stupidly ignore.

Every year, obscene amounts of taxpayer money are sent down a black hole inside the Pentagon and the CIA. And on the other end of that hole is the gaping maw of war profiteers who finance their opulent lifestyles with blood money paid for by hardworking but stupid Americans.

And most Americans seem either oblivious to the fact or actively supportive of the exploitative status quo.

Fraud is rampant across more than just the DOD. Most federal spending should be the responsibility of the states and welfare fraud is huge. It's more than just the payments. These people because of lack of ambition qualify for free medical care and increase my law enforcement costs with their behavior in all of their free time.

I agree the Defense Department overpays at least ten fold for everything they buy. They are just like our healthcare so called system which is really non-existent.

The 'dupe' is that we can do something about it by merely voting.

I agree, except the American cars were mostly built by Democrat supporting unions who give our country away in the name of "fairness". For the record, I inherited a Nissan, and I have a Ram, a Ford, and a Chevy. I think my next truck will be a Texas built Toyota.

Toyotas are good. And they're more 'Made in USA' now than Ford, GM or Dodge.

Half of the money taken from the productive class goes to lower (unproductive) class.

Which is why I think individuals who throw money to a campaign, except for local and some state races, is foolish. The RNC and DNC will tell us who will run for prez most of the time.

The solution is simple, non-partisan, and would return the political class back to "We the People".

28th Amendment Making Politicians Answer to “We the People”

No money will be allowed to any political campaign, including propositions, or other ballot measures from any entity that is not a U.S. Citizen. Excluded from donating: corporations, special interest groups, unions, and foreign entities. U.S. Citizens may only donate a total of $5,000 a year for all political donations and may only donate to political campaigns that affect their geography of residency.

Yeah, but at least with other forms of spending, it goes towards helping Americans in some way: Healthcare for the poor and the elderly, infrastructure, housing, education, etc. Spending on the US empire just goes directly into the pockets of profiteers while giving the country little to nothing in return except death, destruction, and chaos. The first priority of this country needs to be a significant reduction in the extremely wasteful and destructive military spending. Once that has been accomplished, then it will be appropriate to discuss reforming or improving various social welfare programs.

    I'm only thirty-four. And I've never voted.

    No.

It sounds like you're the one fishing for sympathy.

Anyway, what does this have to do with my opening post?

70% of federally spent money goes to mandatory spending, which are welfare programs, so your argument pretty much misses the mark by a wide margin.

Stealing from the taxpayer is stealing from the taxpayer. It doesn’t matter who they are. It goes to criminals every time. Stop fraud everywhere you see it.

Welfare programs actually help Americans in some way. Invading and destroying countries that never attacked us doesn't help anyone except war-profiteering scoundrels. Therein lies the difference.

The entire US empire is a fraud. And it's bankrupting the country.
