I've only listened to a few minutes of the defense closing but imo its not a good idea to tell the jury not to assume facts about Z then turn around and imply they should assume what TM was doing.

There is no direct evidence what Martin was doing for those 4 mins but those 4 mins exist. Of course they have to assume he did something during that time and it sure as hell wasnt run home or call the police.

 

Right, the problem lies with the meager state and their inability to afford such things... Isn't your side the one that argues that there are more minorities in prison because they can't afford to fight the state?

 

I agree I just didn't understand why he used the tactic saying you shouldn't assume was Z was doing but assume what TM was doing. It would have been better if he had simply said you have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt and the prosecution hasn't done that.

 

Then explain why the State pulled a fast one yesterday by asking the court

a Lessor charge of 3rd degree Murder due to child abuse {aggravated}

Yea your right because Zimmerman walked to the other street (he claims to get an address where there was no address of course) and it took him all of 4 minutes to do so and just as he was coming back to his truck to continue on to Target out of nowhere Trayvon jumps out of the bushes and attacks him (granted there are no bushes). Now how do we know he walked over to the other street instead of down the sidewalk, because that is what Zimmerman told us.
