More signs point to Mark Zuckerberg possibly running for president in 2020

He can't beat President Trump... that is for sure... but at least he is putting forward ideas that are worthy of serious discussion!

I do about a thousand hours each year as a volunteer writer troubleshooting problems and ideas all over the internet and I disagree with buddy in the video who disagrees with Zuckerberg, (Mr. Steve Forbes). That guy is elitist and hates the idea of people being more free to volunteer more........ and work at a menial job...... (such as janitor)....... a lot less. He thinks that the lower classes..... like me....... have to be head over heels in debt or we will stop working at the companies that they own....... for the low wages that he wants to pay!

Under my variation of a plan for a Minimum Basic Income for Canadians.... the twenty percent of Canadians who do eighty percent of the work and pay eighty percent of the taxes...... their incomes should double or triple because everybody will be wanting to hire them................. for whatever number of hours each month that they can get them for.......... because they are the best at what they do!!!!!

I am starting to like Zuckerberg's idea of a Basic Minimum Income more and more all the time..........

and... there may be a more simple way of financing this than I could come up with at first?!

The Tate Plan for a Basic Minimum Income for all Canadians.

What billionaires and business titans say about cash handouts in 2017 (Hint: lots!)

Here is my advice for Mr. Steve Forbes or anybody who thinks that his reply to Mr. Mark Zuckerberg was brilliant..........
Take forty six minutes of your time and listen to what President Obama was doing back in 2014 as explained by CIA economist Jim Rickards... ........... Ask yourself how well was that working???????

Then ask yourself what would be the nearly OPPOSITE approach to what President Obama did in 2009 - 2014????

Beware what they are trying to do with their renewed Freeshit movement. It's exactly what LBJ did to black folks, and you see how that has turned out for them. He vowed: "I'll have those ******s voting democrat for the next 200 years!"

Welcome back, by the way! :)

Its sad that we can't quote a democratic president without getting banned nowadays.

But..... what if your comments and posts on discussion forums are actually of far greater value to the Creator of the universe than you tend to imagine??????

What if something huge gets started up here in Canada.... and then spreads to the USA... .and what if your participation on discussion forums plays a significant role in that happening?????/

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/the-tate-plan-for-a-basic-minimum-income-for-all-canadians.556527/page-2&fbclid=IwAR2KpCfFWgvg8LHHjlGH65zpYG2ql1e06Pmeq56841SVY7GHqC1GV25sYpg#post-1070616789

So even if you did have a couple of glasses of wine while you were posting..........
you still might just be accomplishing more than you might at first imagine for the children of the year 2185?!

You do have a good point.......
I can't deny that this will harm a segment of the population who may actually try to live on
that Basic Minimum Income check but..........
I do believe that this will be an extremely small segment of the population of Canada...............

I am convinced that well over eighty percent of Canadians will use their five hundred dollar Basic Minimum Income
    payment to
    renovate their homes..........
purchase more organic veggies and products.....
purchase a newer half ton truck or car......
    pay off their debt load......
put their kids and grandchildren in more after school programs.....
and yes.... buy land in a rural area so that they can become more self sufficient and have a garden.... .or even a cow or two or three.... or some goats.....
    ........

Hotdogr ... I truly do thank you for replying to this topic because if there are gaping and serious flaws in what I am proposing I want to know before I get out there and start campaigning on this as a big part of my platform.

I have listend to the following video many times and it seems to me that something needs to be done..... and it sure seems to me that what we do needs to be different than what was done from 2009 - 2014 when Mr. Jim Rickards did this brilliant analysis of our situation:

FORGET IRAN, IRAQ, UKRAINE THIS IS WHERE WWIII STARTS...

I am a believer in the power of human beings to become more well informed...... change our behaviour..... and alter the future for the better......

I think about that quite a bit.

I'm sure powerful people or some celebrities are as addicted to these as we are and with as much as I post I'm sure they've seen my comments so you never know.

When you think of it, unlike anytime in the past, our ability to reach people is almost limitless now.

Hey Dennis, it's interesting you should be on the UBI bandwagon. You hear about UBI from many different people nowadays. More and more. Do you think it could be our destiny?

Yes...... I posted the text for this message to a Nova Scotia Closed group that I am a member of and within two hours the idea had really taken off!

Five hundred dollars per Canadian per month, can this work?

But this isn't exactly free because it is paid for by the INCREASE IN PRODUCTIVITY
that was largely done by our ancestors..... and then multiplied exponentially by inventors like Nikola Tesla, Albert Einstein and all those millions of scientific geniuses who have transformed our economy.

The present set up for our economy gives the rewards from the work of our ancestors and inventors and scientists largely to the top one percent of the top one percent of the INVESTOR CLASS...... but I am postulating something completely different!

From 2009 - 2014 President Obama and his team dumped billions and billions and billions on the INVESTOR CLASS
but this did very, very little to stimulate the economy.

When something is tried over and over again and DOES NOT WORK.......
it is time to think of different approach that takes into consideration the previous failures!

This interview is forty six minutes long but brilliant.....
and shows how serious the situation really is:
    FORGET IRAN, IRAQ, UKRAINE
    THIS IS WHERE WWIII STARTS...

    P. M. Netanyahu, President Trump has a 4.3 trillion dollar problem....

So far.. the amount of H2O being ADDED TO THE CENTRAL region of Antarctica has saved New Orleans, Miami, New York,
Anchorage, Alaska and the eastern area of the Bay of Fundy..... but we can't bank on that continuing forever so....... deliberately lowering ocean levels by four to eight inches, (the amount that ocean levels when up by over the last century), is worthy of consideration.

How much longer will central Antarctica save our coastal communities?
Although yes... .a segment of the population will NOT be inspired to become productive through a Minimum Basic Income..... if they have their Canadian or USA citizenship or residency....... we don't want them to starve to death or become homeless........ .so a simple straightforward monthly payment that is actually higher than welfare payments........... could actually assist HIGHLY PRODUCTIVE Americans and Canadians to become INVESTORS to a greater extent...... and help them to become busier during what might have been their slow seasons or days of the week?!

I am more worried about zuckerbergs 'leadership' in censoring people who disagree with him. He has already showed his penchant for totalitarianism.

Correct..... that is his problem as a potential candidate!

His idea of a Basic Minimum Income can be quite good but his lack of belief in true freedom of speech for people who disagree with him.... .now that is a serious issue for anybody who wants to become President. (But then again...... if you compare him with other Democrats..... he isn't anywhere nearly as bad as many of them and it is possible that the amount of pressure put on him by very powerful people might surprise us)!?

Yeah, the former Soviet Union called it Communism. First came the basic wage, then they dictated what job you did. That worked out swell!

There should be ZERO, NADA, ZILCH basic income or wage, whether hourly or not, whether you're work for it or not.

The INVESTOR CLASS creates jobs for everyone else. Without the investor class this country would be a 3rd world shithole.

Once you understand this.... ......you will see that My Variation of this idea is
actually the diametric opposite of COMMUNISM...........

I am calling for five hundred dollars per month to be created by the Bank of Canada that
all Canadians own...... and paid to all thirty seven million Canadian citizens and legal residents......

For a family of four this would be two thousand dollars Canadian which would make it possible for many Canadian families to make some significant changes in their purchasing habits.

Because this payment is unconditional and will go to both rich and poor... employed and unemployed.......
it will free up many people on social assistance who are penalized for attempting to better their circumstances.......

This is close to being the opposite of Communism.

I think you will find some surprises here:

Five hundred dollars per Canadian per month, can this work?

Note... your situation in the USA is different than up here in Canada because we Canadians already OWN the Bank of Canada. Such is not quite the case in the USA.

Hello Hello, it's not. It's the same damn thing Venezuela did. You can put a different label on socialism and call it something new and trendy but it's still the same old bullshit.

No.... my wife is from Ecuador and kept me up to date on what happened in Venezuela and it was nothing like what I am proposing.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/five-hundred-dollars-per-canadian-per-month-can-this-work.556638/&fbclid=IwAR3hxzWD7eAJGbrcTXwJL6N4eiohWra7na7tjs9A27DylW_bPtC8G2vjZ8k#post-1070624266

What I am advocating will break Canadians out from under socialist welfare systems that penalize the attempts that they make to break away from social assistance and enter the work force.

What I am talking about is different than the way that Mark Zuckerberg probably is thinking of financing his variation on it.... because I read stuff about the history of USA central banking policy that must be applied to do this properly.

Is it a surprise to you to find out that President Lincoln saved American taxpayers FOUR BILLION DOLLARS IN INTEREST PAYMENTS?

You are advocating for wealth re-distribution, plain and simple. It's the same damn thing Karl Marx spewed and the same damn thing Leon Trotsky and Vladimir Lenin spewed....before the Bolshevik revolution.

When government dictates income......it's the exact opposite of capitalism.

What do you think a government dictated income is???? It's socialist welfare.

Beware of defining social welfare as socialism. If it works to solve our problems then people are never going to heed your warning about socialism ever again. Do you want to have a red scare when it isn't really red???

Hey Dennis, if you want to run for office on a platform of UBI, then you have a big job winning over a majority of the population.

There is a similar candidate in the USA called Andrew Yang, who is running for president, and he's running on a Freedom Dividend, in other words: a UBI of $1000/month for every American citizen. But he's very low in the polls. He's done many appearances in the news and for speeches. But despite working very hard he's still between 1%-3% popularity in the polls.
