Rush Limbaugh Apologizes to Ms. Fluke

Rush Limbaugh took a cheap shot he thought he'd get away with . he's done the same thing for years ... Millions listen to Limbaugh every day ... what does the man make a year ? 40 million dollars ? let's see, that's about 3 million a month , after taxes ...

If he hadn't of started loosing sponsors , do you think he'd have apologised ?

As long as the Republican Party ties their foul mouth to their fat wallets , and Rush Limbaugh , can anyone ever believe or trust what they say ?

As long as Rush Limbaugh is the spokesperson for the ' Party of NO ' , the GOP will never have my vote on anything or any candidate Rush supports .

It's worth noting that not one of the 4 GOP potus candidates have came out against Limbaugh for his trash talk.

I guess they are a scairt of speaking the truth .

No. I understand liberals very well. Ed Shultz calling a woman a slut gets a pass. An apology from someone that has been on air for 25 years cannot be tolerated. It is the liberal way.

Do you think Rush's show will be suspended for a week for his vicious unjustified attack of this woman, baselessly claiming she had sex all the time and was a "slut" and a "prostitute"?

Do you agree he should get at least the same punishment as Schultz for his "talk slut" comment?

I don't think Shultz should have been punished for his stupidity, or did you miss that? Don't you think an apology is enough or do you think people should be silenced if the f'k up?

 

I do not believe Schultz got a "pass" from anyone, including himself.

But you are sure giving your hero with a dirty mouth a pass. and the fact that he has been spewing hatred, prejudices and mysoginy for 25 years certainly don't excuse his unconscionable words, his hateful attitude, and his ridiculous, fake apologies so full of arrogance.

I hope he is just digging a deeper hole for himself. And the fact that just today, two stations have cancelled his program in their market is a good beginning!

Since the left has failed at putting out opposition radio, failed at instituting the Fairness Doctrine, all they have left is to try to silence opposition using any means possible. If you have not noticed it, the right is not trying to do this en mass like the left is. Trying to silence opposition is different than trying to influence debate.

 

Hi, I'm not from the U.S. so I'm not as fully clued up as some of you. What was it that the left has done to try to silence him on the actual issue? (as opposed to merely the insults used, I mean)
