No it is the opinion of an expert that Obama most likely reviewed it as that was the practice however the expert cannot say definitively that he did. Since you want to be all legalistic with your wording that is called probable cause so since we now have probable cause lets see his college transcripts.

No genius the publishing company confirmed its real and not a forgery.

 

And evidence that he probably reviewed and approved it. As far as standards of evidence go that is called probable cause.

I'm not arguing the actual place of his birth. I'm arguing that Obama may have lied about the place of his birth to get special treatment. This pamphlet is evidence of that. Probable cause has been established by the evidence so lets see the college records.

 

It's amazing to me, the amount of denial people have on this.

Why is it so far fetched, that Obama wasn't born here? All roads lead away from the USa on this one.

What do you gain from denial?

All the evidence shows Barack Obama was born in Hawaii.

So he confirmed that it is most likely that Obama didn't write this, and that he probably approved the text.

But hey-maybe we should consider the words of someone who actually edittedthe pamplet- Miriam Goderich:

There was never any information given to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii. And the State of Hawaii has confirmed that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii and that his birth certificate is authentic.

One is evidence of place of birth....one is not....you figure it out.

A birther finally understands the privacy laws that prevent the records of Obama and Romney being released to any gossip who wants to look at them, and understands the political realities that cause Romney and Obama not to release there records!

Are you suggesting that Ms. Goderich knows exactly what information was given to here 20 years ago. I'm sorry but at this stage recollection is not good enough. Probable cause has been established based on physical evidence. It is now probable that Obama lied in his youth about the place of his birth. Given this I believe it is more than time the people see Obama's college records.

 

Their are these things called "airplanes" these days.
They've only been around for about 109 years.

Sssshhhhhh don't tell Birthers about those things. They will be claiming that there is no proof that they can fly.

 

Wouldn't you think someone who was an editor of a legal journal would proof read the bio that was about to be printed? This was quite an honor for such a young man, national recognition. Even if he didn't proof read that he would have asked for a correction about a key event. And there is no evidence his objected or ask for a correction. Why not?

Once again- the physical evidence is his birth certificate.

And by the way- multiple magazine articles the same year refer to Obama being born in Hawaii.

He's getting national recognition, an honor and he he didn't read it? Where did the get the idea he was born in Kenya in the first place? Where was his attempt to set the record straight.

 

Maybe because the publisher spent over $10,000 to produce the pamphlet and Obama didn't think that 20 years later conspiracy theorists would be puzzling over this, while ignoring all the magazine articles from the same year that refer to Obama being born in Hawaii?

Where did the idea he was born in Kenya come from in the first place? I have been published in such journals and yes they have you sign off of the what they are printing and if they had printed I was born in Ireland instead of the US I would have raised the issue and asked for a possible insert to be sent to all known purchasers. Why did he raise it to the publisher? There is no record of it, I'd like to hear what he says about it. I'd like to know if he knowingly misrepresented himself.
