    Quite right , Political condidates are phonies / lying scoundrels - they'l say + swear to anything in order to gain votes + be elected to office.

    I hope you don't actually mean it as you said it. I'd agree that fundamentalism should be kept in check, but that doesn't mean we need Christians to stay out of government.

    Clever move , Bible teaches servants to be obedient to their masters , teach soldier to obey orders. Nazi's used similar tactics . " Gott ist mit Uns " etc.

    Religion - of whatever shade , makes a handy tool in controlling the masses.

    I'll check those cases, but have a good idea of what I will find. I will just agree with Jefferson who opined (I don't have the exact quote handy) that "loose constructionism" will render the Constitution meaningless as that would allow politicians to do as they please.

    In my eyes, the result is self evident.

    This is not a socialist country yet and the Government does not have that kind of control over companies. If insurance companies do it voluntarily fine but Obama is abusing his authority and 40+ lawsuits prove it

    At this point the problem is government staying out of religion and obeying the constitution that gives freedom of religion,not freedom from religion

    So you have nothing except useless opinions. I would say Chick Filet proved their are huge numbers of Christians that believe the Bible and are ready to take a stand against government officials like Rham

    I agree... I just ask that you conservatives don't hijack Christianity and use it as a weapon against those of us who do not believe in your economic theories. I hate when the right claims Christianity like being a Republican has anything to do with being a Christian. And the kind of disgrace you guys show towards the President who is a Christian is disgusting. For being "Christians" you are awfully hateful. You should know that it is not your right to judge who is "Christian or not". As a Christian Democrat it really annoys me when the right tries to associate conservatism with Christianity. They are not even remotely the same.

    And what they said was stupid. That's not hate though. Conservatives are one of the most hateful cults in America. One of the main reasons I have to deal with being on a side consisting of atheists and pro-homosexuality. That's how bad you conservatives have gotten.

    What the mayors did id say the constitution does not matter their hate for Christians does. You show your hate for Christians and conservatives all the time.

    Yes, American IS a Christian nation. Christianity is not what many or you who know like to pretend it is something more than what it is. I am going to say this one time. All of those who go by the name of Christian and do righteous deeds are not Christians at all. Those that you see everyday in their actions that are liked by the most of you, are in fact Christians.
    Think over it. John Brown was not a Christian, he was a righteous man who believe in doing right by all. He was even martyred because of his righteous penchant.

    It was hate speech and went against the constitution. Christians showed they would fight for their constitutional rights on Chick filet appreciation day

    This should be a message to the democrats that Christians will not allow democrats to take away their constitutional rights

    True Christians do not answer to Democrats and their crocodile tears. We answer to one entity and it drives liberals crazy. Life is vapor.....as Christians we are vividly aware of this fact and act accordingly.
