    The contradiction I cited was your claim that we were founded as a secularist nation, a claim we've now well established is bull(*)(*)(*)(*) based on your own now twice stated agreement.

    That you cannot distinguish between the United States of America (nation) and New York (state) is your problem, not mine.

    That you cannot bring yourself to see the historical evils of religion is, again, your problem, not mine.

    only when one chooses to ignore history, are they doomed to repeat it, theocracies are bad for everyone INCLUDING Christians, not sure why some can't see that

    yes, you got it, a theocracy is bad for everyone... including Christians, that is why the founders did not want a theocracy to ever be set up here

    their intentions may be good, but theocracies always turn out ugly
