    he is clearly the best president since kennedy, should the constitution be changed to allow him to serve more terms ?

    Personality cults are certainly not a thing of the past it seems. And no of course not, if anything it should be illegal for him to serve two

    Can't be done. Would take constitutional amendment and would only apply to future Presidents.

    By all means, moving the US towards more democratic tyranny and fiscal irresponsibility is what Charlie wants. Nothing like imploding to make foreigners feel good.

    Seriously though, an idea I would personally support, would be to change/limit the term of President to one (1) six year term.

    I don't know, it is a valid discussion about terms. For instance, if Charlie had his way, Obama could campaign forever.

    I would like to see one term for President, maybe a longer one where they would not have to campaign the whole term like Obama has done.

    Obama proved he deserves to be a one term President. I hope the American electorate is smart enough to see that. If Europeans like Obama, then it is obvious Obama hasn't taken care of his people here in America.

    Personally, I like the idea of limiting presidents to 1 term. Just extend the term to 6 years, and then the president can spend all of his time trying to get things done without worrying about campaigning.

    Yes, that would be fantastic.

    Well, it would be fantastic if it was possible for a perpetual motion machine to exist. Or if it was possible to get more energy and matter out of a system than you put into it. but since those things are NOT possible, the welfare system will ulitmately crash a country's economy.

    So, no three terms, four terms, or even TWO terms would be too many for Obama.

    One could be tempted to say that ONE term was too many for Obama.

    Also one six year term for Senate and House, one 25 yr. term for Supreme Court.

    Make lobbying illegal, along with any other possible kickbacks to a politician.
    And equal campaign monies, from a govt fund, for every candidate in any race, no donations, including from self, allowed.

    nope, no president should be able to serve more then two terms, some liked Bush, would we want him for more then 2 terms, no way, it protects us from a lifetime of someone like Bush being our dictator and chief

    so republicans want to take us back to the prices of Jan 2009, those prices only can happen if we have another economic free fall like the one back then, do you really want that?

    if Obama loses he hands off a economic recover to the next president rather then what Bush did, he handed off a economy in free fall to Obama

    if Obama wins and Republicans put America first rather then party first, Obama would pass on a booming economy in 2016
