Black students are failing because they are raised by poor single women

Republicans are not anti immigrant.

They are anti illegal alien.

People who sneak into this country illegally like to identify themselves with legitimate immigrants.

But they are really trespassers and cheaters.

 

A lot of the anit illegal groups make the same arguments for legal immigrants as well. NumbersUSA and CIS are two of the most recognized groups even though there are a lot more.

 

Many people and not just Republicans think that our current immigration policy that gives preference to an old, uneducated, and poor family member for a visa instead of a young, college grad with a useful skill is hurting this country.

Why bring mom over here with her medical problems and put her on SSI and Medicaid at great expense to the taxpayers rather than let in a person who will contribute to the economy.

You may have an emotional dislike of people who are anti illegal alien.

But that does not mean what they are saying doesn't make sense because it does.

 

Anti ILLEGAL immigration... There is a difference you know. Nothing will get done though. Specially when the President himself has two illegal family members.

 

Here is another thing for Alwayssa to consider about whites who may be less enthused about immigration than she is.

How many times have we seen the libs post here with the latest news that by 2015 or 2040 or whatever the current date is when whites will no longer be a majority.

They act as if that is a good thing or something.

To liberals that is not just news it is wonderful news.

Meaning that to them it's OK for minorities to hate or dislike whites but not the other way around.

If libs are allowed to dance in the streets when they hear that whites will someday be a minority why is it not OK for whites to not be thrilled by that news?

I agree with you on the current state of the black community, but only that. The reasons are simply too numerous and obvious. What you, my friend, seem to like to do 24/7 is pick on a race that has been abused and handicapped from the start. It's like laughing at a racer for being behind you because his feet were shackled and the rules set against him. And people like you who think like you who are in places of power and influence sabotage them and yet try to say that blacks had every opportunity that you did.

I actually hadn't thought about it that way. You have a point. All she had to do was be in the top 10 percent of her high school class to get in. If she couldn't do that, doesn't say much about her qualifications. Of course the same logic could be applied to a black applicant. But nonetheless, and interesting argument.

 

It is a fear of failure that drives them to yearn for the security of the yoke and the pen. They are people yearning to be peasants again with a Lord to protect them.

Your right, its not just Republicans, so let me rephrase it. It is predominately on the right wing side such as the Consitutional Pary. But let me address your other points as follows:

1. Those that come here already pregnant is a minute few. Generally, the CBP do not allow such circumstances unless there are ties in the united States already. I am speacking on my experience with immigrantion, privately, but I also know there are exceptions as with anything else.

2. I don't have a emotional dislke, but I am passionate about this.

3. Given our history with immigration, this is nothing new. It started with the Irish and now it is with Mexicans specifically and Hispanics generally. We would not be having this discussion if there are 2 million Canadians living here illegally, IMO

But policies that are supposed to affect illegals do in fact impact legal immigrants as wel. The case about a German alien in Alabama wa presumed illegal because he forgot his US drivers license and had his German drivers license. The police officer, under that law, had to take him in. It was a complete embarrassment and the politician who wrote the law said that should not have been the case. Other methods include denying emergency care to illegals, denying housing to illegals, and denying legal rights to illegals who may have the legal status to adjust their status but cannot afford the immigration attorney. This has affected legal immigrants because now that have to pass a bar to absolutely prove their legal status. Some cases I know involve those that are awaiting adjustment to LPR or other nonimmigrant visas.

As with your question, that is called demographics. White, non hispanic are producing babies less and less. Some of this is due to income restraints and some of this is due to social norms. However, I don't see any logic behind the fear. The United States has never been a homogeneious nation. This is one of our strengths a nation. Some of the most American places happen to be places like Chinatown, Little Saigon, or Little Tokyo.

 

America is a very different country than we were in 1900.

Then we were an expanding industrial nation with a need for unskilled labor to work in manufacturing, mining and other growing blue-collar industries.

Now we have much less need for uneducated people.

In fact, if uneducated people were an asset we have only to look in our own cities like Detroit to find them in abundance.

So for bleeding heart libs to suggest that we should just swing the doors wide open and allow everyone to move here is an absurdity.

 

Demographics is one thing.

But the absolute joy and excitement that libs exude when they talk about the decline of white America is something else entirely.

Don't demand that we be colorblind when libs can think of nothing except skin color.

Just curious, would you say there are more black folks that are on Gov't assistance in America or more black folks who get up and go to work everyday in America.

 

What that means is that we need to take a good chunk of that ONE TRILLION DOLLARS that we spend on making war and use it to educate people properly.

 

Trust me I hate it when I see some middle class black kid blame "whitey" because they can't get their act together and get a proper education. It doesn't matter if you are black or white if you walk around with your pants hanging off your butt and don't study you are going to have a problem. Is is possible the black kid will have more problems? Sure. But they have all the tools in their own hands to avoid that trouble.

Also unlike the poeople that start threads like this I worry about myself and not what other people are doing. Case in point there was once rumors of cheating in one of my classes in college. I didn't care because I knew all I had to do to secure an A was to study hard regardless of what other people did.

What's easier? A white girl getting into UT Austin or taking a troll case to the Supreme Court?

The other thing is African Americans make up up 14% of the US population. I guarantee you they do NOT make up 10% of any school or decent work site anyone on this forum has studied/worked at. Out of the roughly 10,000 slots available at UT Austin literally THOUSANDS are filled by whites every year. I believe something like 5-6% are filled by African Americans. Whoever looks at those statistics and concludes the main reason they didn't get to go to UT was black people is insane.

 

This is a perennial Grand Leftwad Lie. More money DOES NOT buy more education. Some of the most frugal school districts get well above average test scores. Why, you ask? They are located away from the coasts in red states with mostly white students and two parents.

Blacks are laboring under a huge handicap of roughly one standard deviation lower IQ scores. Add in family dysfunction and a poisoned culture and doom is all but guaranteed. I don't know what you do to narrow the IQ gap. I DO know that the welfare state has destroyed the black family and the culture tumbled right along with that. Dems will provide more of the same. If you're content with the status quo, vote Dem and it won't disintigrate too much more too quickly.
