They use actual camera footage taken inside the uterus at different stages of fetal development. You can clearly see the little life as it gradually forms and becomes a baby. Ironically, it has been only after the legalization of abortion that science has made great progress in understanding the unborn child. One of the reasons abortion continues is that the victims are largely unseen. Yet today, with high definition ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging, and hysteroscopy, where a tiny camera is inserted into the uterus, we can see the unborn moving around. For those who support the so-called "right to choose," a key question is whether or not they are willing to let the woman see what she is choosing to destroy.
You hit the nail on the head, it should be the woman's right to choose if she wants to see it or not. Tell me why do you have this obsession with trying to force people do something?
I wonder... How many women would actually go through with the abortion if this video was played on the TV screens in abortion clinic waiting rooms?
Afraid to answer my question? Tell me why do you have this obsession with trying to force people do something?
What harm would happen if those women were legally required to watch that video? Hmm, well maybe those abortion companies will lose lots of money!
Who are to mandate anyone watches anything? What if the woman simply decides to leave the waiting room while waiting for her appointment? Most probably would.
Well, how about this for a compromise? Maybe the woman is not mandated to watch the video, but she's given an option to watch it. Is that still wrong?
The majority of women having abortions already have at least one child. They know all about pregnancy and fetuses. A video about pregnancy would be effective in a sex education class, especially if it included the birth process.
What I know as a women is that no pregnancy before 21 weeks has or can live outside the womb, period, end of story.
If not, it's because they missed out on comprehensive sex ed. How ironic that pro-lifers generally oppose that, then try to force it on aborting women after it's too late.
I don't mind saying I have an obsession....with it..because I find the idea of doing nothing and not educating women....horrible. You don't want them to be educated...cause that would decrease abortion...and we all know how you love abortion. yea your damn right I have an obsession...only mine is for the good of man....yours is to paint a red bulls eye on every unborn in the womb. That is your obsession. - - - Updated - - - Show me the studies where they interviews every woman that had an abortion. I would love to read it. Hell most women won't discuss it...let alone be part of a study.
probably was closed down by the state for doing illegal abortions. - - - Updated - - - Knowing about how to have sex is not enough. Kids need to be taught about fetal development. They don't do that in school. They need to see videos like this...
It would probably have changed this young woman's mind... "It says ultrasound examination form, so when I went to have, before I had my abortion they had to perform an ultrasound to figure out how far along I was... It says 'client was offered to view image' - to view the ultrasound, check. Either check viewed or declined. They checked viewed. ... (holding back tears) I never saw my ultrasound. I was told nothing was visible. And I was told that it wouldn't matter, you couldn't see a hearbeat, you couldn't see anything, it was just... I wouldn't know what I was looking at. (sarcastic tone) It also says 'client requested and was given copy of image'. That's also checked. (holding back tears again) I wasn't ever given a picture of my son. ... But when I went to Planned Parenthood today and got all the records... I saw those, my ultrasounds for the very first time - six years later (sobbing, she holds up pictures) You can see the heartbeat going off right there. ... He was almost an inch long. I was between 8 and 9 weeks, and he was almost an inch long. (long period of silence) I know so many people out there say that Planned Parenthood - they 'do so much' and 'offer so many good services for women' ... And I just want to know why I was denied seeing this. You say that "women don't change their minds because of it... I don't know if I would have... but if I had, would it have been so bad?"
not in the slightest .. so why do you have this obsession with trying to force people do something? - - - Updated - - - more of the same you, you , you .. how about just for once, as a change you actually post some evidence to support your opinion .. start with evidence to show I don't want them to be educated
