Do you think that Florida remains the same in the eyes of people living in other countries who were considering a vacation in Florida?

The circumstances surrounding this one event and the American reaction to it is far more significant than you might imagine.

I just heard Tourism numbers dropped overnite in Florida. not even a 100 Disneyworld commercials can bring it back.

Even major Entertainers are now boycotting Florida asking others to cancel all future shows there. , from Stevie Wonder to BB King...it's about to get ugly in Florida financially. the old white retirees can't welch off the tourism dollars any longer. it's gonna dry up FAST!

    You are being absurd.

How about Beyonce - have you heard if she is going to boycott Florida??? I think she was just in Atlanta, and I read she is not going to be in NYC until December - she's got plenty of touring to do, and she and Jay-Zzzz need the money. Jay-Zzzz is broke and has to tour with that white boy, Justin Timberlake - you think they agree on Zimmerman?

I almost forgot, Stevie and B.B., are older than the hills, and are trying to gin up some work - nice ploy.

Maybe they would think that because of the self-defense laws and the prevalence of concealed weapons (guns) in the pockets of law-abiding citizens, the thugs therefore have to worry that whoever they might attack, might shoot them. This thereby reduces the chances of an attack. Maybe that's why the whole state of Florida (other than the wasteland called Miami) has such a lower murder rate, and lower crime rate than Montreal.

So all the Black entertainers are going to stay away ? Great. That opens up opportunities for the White entertainers to come in, and fill in their dates. Hear that Paul McCartney & Ringo ? Rolling Stones ? Bob Dylan ? Fleetwood Mac ? Niel Young ? Best news I've heard in a while. :giggle:

I have NONE of the gravy or rails, because my entire economic life has been wiped out by 50 years in the workforce being discriminated against, by racist race-based affirmative action. So now, don't you think all of the Blacks who got all THAT "gravy train",and White liberals who caused it, should pay me reparations to compensate me for all the losses they incurred on me ? That's a rhetorical question. I'll give you the answer. OF COURSE they should. Time to share. Time to pay us Whites back for all those jobs, all those college assistantships, all that money you took from us. I know that Black guilt over that Black privilege is bugging you. If you've got an ounce of decency, YOU KNOW I'm right.

Yeah, that evidence that was enough to CORROBORATE GZ's story and that was more than enough to find him NOT GUILTY OF ALL THE FALSE CHARGES brought against him. :roflol:

That's a load and a half. There's zero evidence that TM pounded Z's head on the sidewalk. Where's the concrete debris in his wounds? How did TM go for Z's gun? If he was astride him he would have never seen Z's gun. Z killed TM in cold blood and inflicted the wounds on his head himself. Where there any bruises on Z's arms, torso, legs? Were the back of his shoes scuffed from being in contact with the sidewalk? Were the toes of TM's shoes scuffed from contact with the sidewalk? Was there any concrete powder on the back of Z's clothes?

If you have better evidence then, by all means, give it to the State. Apparently they missed what you so obviously were able to determine. Good luck!

If TM had been the angelic cherub student that the meida propaganda machine pushed on the public...and didn't get expelled so many times that his mom and to send him to stay at TM's Father's GIRLFRIEND house TM would still be alive and NO GUN would come into play.

What can be learned from this case is possibly the same that could be learned from the Casey Anthony case: you can't predict how a jury will rule. Maybe that is why so many accused of offenses take plea bargains, even if they feel they aren't guilty. They simply don't want to put their lives in the hands of a jury.
As far as the Zimmerman case goes, you either have faith in the Justice system or you don't. If you don't and thought Zimmerman should have been found guilty then you need to work to change the Justice system, not protest the verdict. If you have faith in the system but disagree with the verdict; you likely don't have all the information, that the jury had and shouldn't second guess the verdict and you also should work to change the Justice system.
The way I have seen it, it is just one more opportunity for African Americans(or as the Sharpton group of liberals call themselves, Black)agitators, super progressives to play the race card. Something they do continually. It is as if this group just doesn't want are Country to grow when it comes to civil rights and prejudice. Sorry, just the way I see, MSNBC as a major instigator that constantly plays the race card. These Liberal groups hope to gain support by dividing the races. Not good. I am sick of it.

That's part of the reasoning why I allow myself to accept welfare. That, and it is probably going to run out, so I am going to take advantage of it. But I also believe that my contribution to mankind, with a scientific political charter system, is justified - kind of like a government research grant.

She probably always believed Trayvon would be good for something.

Now she's got more money and fame than she ever imagined.

Thanks Trayvon. You did right by Mama !

I've read comments from advocates of Zimmerman's conviction describe his behavior as "stalking."

That so-called "expert" lied his butt off. An average person could win 100 lotteries in a row before he could shoot a person astride of him perpendicular in the chest in the heart who is pounding his head on the sidewalk. Ain't gonna happen. The "expert" is a lying bag of BS. If Z had shot TM under those circumstances a belly wound would have been completely reasonable. Or any wound with a low entry and a much higher exit. Z was standing next to TM, grabbed TM by his clothes, and shot him dead from a standing position.
