The family that George Zimmerman rescued from an overturned SUV in Florida last week is white ... this according to the police report obtained by TMZ.


According to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office, the two adults who were pulled out of their overturned SUV on July 17 were described as a white male and a white female.

The report states that the SUV was traveling toward an off-ramp on State Road 417 when the driver lost control ... causing the vehicle to "go off road and roll over."

As we previously reported, two men responded to the accident and helped pull the family to safety -- one of the rescuers was George Zimmerman, the man who shot and killed Trayvon Martin.

Officials say there were 4 passengers inside the SUV at the time of the wreck -- 2 parents and 2 children.

TMZ has also obtained the 911 calls placed by witnesses moments after the crash, detailing the accident.

Exotix my already low opinion of you got even lower because you started this thread. Zimmerman is a hero. That SUV could have burst into flames at any moment while Zimmerman was pulling those people out. He had a fire extinguisher to be ready for that possibility.

In my opinion, Zimmerman is a badass.

If George has a police scanner, there will be problems.

OMara should have kept his mouth shut and let George be "everyman" who does the right thing.

 

Why? It's not illegal to listen to police scanners. Go to your computer and Google police scanners in your city. There you can get fire, police, etc. scanners streaming to your computer. You'll thank me later on when there is some major incident that could negatively affect you and you need up to date info.

 

So George rescuing white people is a bad thing? I guess that makes him a racist...LOL!

I see that the royal baby has bumped the trayvon news down in the media. It is about time this story faded into the background. This silly protesting is for nothing. George is a free man. Deal with it.

 

In my professional opinion, not bloody likely. I have seen one vehicle catch fire in an accident. I would need video of the incident to know whether the doofus did everything right, but I kind of doubt that he did anything of especial merit.

He's a legend in his own mind, and that will, sooner or later, get somebody else hurt.

 

Right, because saving four white people doesn't count as heroism, unless he actually walked into flames and got burned.

I feel sorry for you people. Your hate hurts you more than it hurts Zimmerman.

 

Have you ever pulled anyone out of a flipped car? Did their race matter to you?

 

I'm not the guy who said it doesn't count what Zimmerman did because the people he rescued are white. That was exotix who said that.

Anyway, I never pulled anyone out of a flipped car, but I did save a blind man from walking into a deep hole. He was white, by the way.

 

It is my professional experience that a lot of people who try to be useful at an accident scene are not. Some of them are actually in the way.

 

Well you have been wrong for over a year. Why should anyone believe your opinion on the subject? George is a hero and not guilty....lol!

exotix, have you ever done anything useful at an auto accident? Have you ever saved anyone's life? My guess is no on both counts.

I once saw a blind man walking towards an open pit. I tried to warn him but he was one of those old guys who don't want to listen to anyone.

So I grabbed him by the shoulders, pulled him around the pit and faced him the other way.

And he cursed me the entire time, and to this day (if he is still alive) he doesn't know why someone he doesn't know manhandled him that way.

I could have ignored the situation, but I did not. Because I am not the kind of person who walks away when other people need help.

And neither is George Zimmerman. He puts himself out there to help others, and the reward he's gotten from people like you is hate.

Those people were lucky George showed up to help them. He is one of the rare people left that does that. Of course, it is sad that our society has gone down hill so much that a good person like George can be viewed as a bad person.

The likelihood of their having suffered injury had fat boy not been there is vanishingly remote.

I have known very proficient and skillful fire fighters who have still turned out to be felons. One of them was a kiddy-fiddler, and got caught in flagrante delicto at the fire station.

Fat boy gets no pass from me.
