Great question. The vast majority of women have abortions not to save their own lives, but for convenience reasons. To answer your question-the fetus's life is way more important than the woman's convenience.

Women know their own bodies a lot better than you might think we do.

 

Somebody needs education and training as a doctor to know whether or not a pregnancy is life threatening. simply being a woman doesn't make one qualified.

Everything that happens during the pregnancy will directly affect the woman. You'd be surprised how many women have good instincts to know when the pregnancy is going horribly wrong.

Well stated sir. This is the aggregate argument, those of us who find abortion reprehensible argue from the view it is an act of murder on an innocent life. In many cases the fetus is female, about 50% of the time in fact, that is being aborted. If we disliked women, we certainly would not be so adamant about sparing this unborn child from a future-less fate. Ideally I would like to see her born into a loving home, and lead a full and productive life to include raising a child/children of her own. Her future is stolen because of the inconvenience her young life, just months in the womb, has created for her mother. An innocent party to an avoidable mistake. Yes we can argue rape and incest are not voluntary, however statistics indicate 99% of abortions are sought from unplanned, voluntarily induced, pregnancies.

 

Would you agree there are some women who may use life threatening as an excuse while they are really using abortion for birth control? Do you support abortion for birth control?
