Thank you for this information. I was not aware of Operation Mockingbird. Wikipedia has a good bit of information to get people started. One very interesting fact is that Allen Dulles, who President Kennedy fired from the CIA, and later of Warren Commission fame, was one of the initial organizers of the secret CIA disinformation campaign.

Cord Meyer was one of the names E. Howard Hunt listed as having been involved in the assassination. And to thicken the plot, JFK had an affair with Meyer's wife. Oh, and it just so happens that she was found murdered by two gunshot wounds 11 months after the assassination. This is all fact.

 

I am aware of that, which is why I said serious investigation, not investigation.

so the confession came from a senile old man and then the sons tried to make $$ off it, sure... SO CREDIBLE.

If you guys want to use old, dying senile Hunt's comments as evidence, knock yourselves out. No-one ever even took this serioulsy, for obvious reasons.

 

How about Meyer's ex-wife. They had been divorced since 1958. And Cord and Mary Meyer lived next door to the Kennedy Family for 3 years, being friendly with both Jack and Jackie. But they were only neighbors for 3 years, JFK sold the house to his brother Bobbie in 1957.

And to be honest, her last years were a mess. Addicted to pot and LSD, she had consulted with Doctor Timothy Leary on how to use LSD to seduce a powerful man, and the suspect in her murder was a lifelong criminal and drug dealer.

And the "confession" of E. Howard Hunt is something nobody takes seriously. Suffering from dementia, his sons claimed he confessed to a conspiracy which also involved Lyndon B. Johnson, David Sánchez Morales, David Phillips, Frank Sturgis, Lucien Sarti, and William Harvey. They then tried to sell the story, but nobody wanted it because they knew it was complete crap.

So who else was involved in this, the Easter Bunny and Charlie Brown?

 

Obvious reasons, yes. Because it would show we were all lied to. I'm sure Hunt's widow would love to accept the fact that her husband was involved in one of the greatest tragedies this country has ever seen.

The Meyer's were divorced in 1958.

The affair did not start until after Kennedy was elected President.

Where is the motive there? Do many ex-husbands go and kill the man his ex-wife is suspected of sleeping with 5 years later?
