Millions more American families are struggling to pay for policies covering services they neither want nor need.

How many millions suffering is OK with you?

    From healthcare.gov...

"So now I have my plan from the exchange. It is through Anthem Blue Cross of Missouri. After all of the misinformation I had to deal with I find that not ONE of my previous doctors (through Anthem Blue Cross of Missouri) is considered "in network". That's right, every one of them is considered out of network and therefore I will be paying more than I even imagined in my worst nightmares, for less coverage than I had before. I checked with Anthem and told them I wanted an off the shelf plan without using the exchange and find that there is no way I can buy the same plan as before with my doctors (and hospital) included because according to the Affordable Care Act, THEY CHARGE TOO MUCH. What part of "If you like your doctor you can keep him" did I not understand?"

"about a black man put in place." Nice racist touch bwk. But how do we know Obama's black side put the law into place? Maybe his white half did it. My comment is as ridiculous as yours. The law is a resource redistribution plan which passed because Obama and the Democrats lied about it.

Our daughter will probably lose her insurance next fall, but for now it will cost her $5,000.00 more per year. Obama lied, because he knew what was coming. To pay for itself, the law must encourage young healthy people to buy inferior insurance policies to pay for the old and sick. Obama reduced that pool by mandating that 26 year-olds can stay on their parents' insurance. They put the initial penalties so low that it is economically beneficial for healthy young to stay out of the insurance market.

Bail out of insurance companies will come next. The law covers it.

ObamaCare was advertised as a way to save the country money. It will help some low income people, but for the rest of us, time and money will drain our resources. And the law will cost the US more than advertised.

I would not call it a success when more people had their insurance cancelled or premiums doubled than have actually received insurance under the ACA.

IOW, do not question Big Brother, but suffer in silence. Resistance is futile.

Geesh, no wonder we lose more freedoms every day.

You're right about that. It's already cost us hundreds of millions before being implemented and the taxpayers will be paying the bill for all of those forced over to Medicaid and fully subsidized..... and after all that, the taxpayers will once again fund the bailouts of those greedy insurance companies for their predictable losses.

Understand we'll be spending $54 million in ads during the next month, trying to sell this failed program to desperate citizens. Might as well flush that money down the toilet.

It is truly amazing that those who get their opinions from media in place of news had no idea that spending nearly 20% of GDP on healthcare for only part of the population is unaffordable.

Now that we can't hide that problem by medical bankruptcies and back door survival medicine for many, the formerly hypnotized into apathy bobble heads are awake and tilting at least with windmills as a start.

Next, the hard part. Actually reducing what we can't afford.

Imagine how much healthcare the money would have covered that they have spent in trying to get this program up and running. Perfect example of how government can do anything private industry can do at 10+ times the cost.

Very true. So much money has already been wasted, everybody in America could sign up and they still wouldn't break even.

Wait til the administrative costs kick in. All those inept exch workers don't come cheap.

Desperate because they lost the insurance they were promised they could keep. And now they find themselves unable to afford comparable plans.
Wouldn't put much stock in those facts, though. Up to 50 million will prob lose their insurance once the emp mandate kicks in later this yr.

Then there will be LOTS of desperate people.

    From healthcare.gov:

"I am apologizing to all those who read my post to SES ... for losing my temper to a comment posted where she called me SELFISH when I had just posted my experience with my young son and I lsoing our insurance and not being able to afford this plan. I stooped to a level that I despise from the supporters on here. I lost my temper and resorted calling a name, which I never do. Yes, I was in tears and felt intense anger for being called a liar time and time agian on this page. I really do not care if the supporters want to defend this on the hurt of other Americans and call us liars. I lost my temper because where my SON is concerned....he(*)is my EVERYTHING and it is NOT selfish to want coverage for him and for me so that can be here for him. He has already suffered the death of one parent. Call me liar if you wish, it doesn't change the truth that we lost our insurance and cannot afford this travesty. But to call me Selfish for wanting this for my son, that is atrocious. Having said that, I will not sink to level of debauchery or low class comments again that have been directed toward me. It would be nice to say I will conitniue in the discussion about this mandate, however much of time those of us with negative experiences are attacked, so it has never really been a discussion . I will continue to post MY experience and hope to hear from others that have shared in mine."

" Hahahahaha! Meet the hardworking kauer family that owns a small business paying a whopping $1272 for a family of three, 300$ more for the same type of plan we had in 2013. What a JOKE! Meet us, that cannot hire any more employees because we can't pay their healthcare....meet us, paying the rest of Korby's insurance....ruining the middle class, one day at a time..." .Edited(*)·(*)Like(*)·(*)203(*)·(*)Reply(*)·(*)Monday at 5:28pm40 replies

Proof what has been known for decades and ignored. Our health care system is unaffordable. Probably by a factor of two. The reason that was obscured is that when business was successful, and had to compete for workers, giving them health insurance was a low cost way to buy loyalty.

Now that business has created the level of unemployment that they desire, they can back away from that competition for workers and leave many hanging.

    Welcome to reality. It sucks.

Well good! Then those 50 million will know what the other 50 million had to go through before Obamacare. Maybe then, the whole 100 million will know we have to do something so all can have healthcare.

Wow. You must work hard to forget nearly 80% were happy with their healthcare ins before Obamacare.

Whether YOU think it was best for them or not.

Srsly, does Obama pay you people? Thats the only explanation that makes any sense.
