I almost just ran over 5 black girls this evening .....

White Americans are weak and don't deserve any respect, nor will they get any. Deal with it.

 

Sadly, people often need to suffer some adversity in life in order to develop character and become decent human beings at some point in their lives. Black Americans don't actually suffer adversity, but fatally they are steeped in a mindset that they do, supported in this by *******s of various stripes - people like Jesse Jackson and even the current president. Thus they have ideas of entitlement and have learned to project their personal failings onto others, especially whites.

Not that this is a uniquely Black problem by any stretch, but I suspect that the aforementioned circumstances have made it particularly prevalent among them. It is also a personal failing that can be found in many individuals, again of all stripes, but usually it isn't culturally instilled or encouraged the way it seems to be among Afro Americans.

Those are my thoughts on it.

I think its just poor communities in general. I live in a small town in southern Illinois. The part of town with the projects is pretty evenly divided between white and black, and you see groups of both colors (usually groups of girls) walking down the middle of the damn street on a day to day basis.

I pulled over once and asked them why they do it, and their response was "the sidewalks suck."

I gotta admit, some of the sidewalks in town do suck, but I think the real reason is they like walking in a horizontal line so that they take up space and are all in the same general group position.

Generally speaking, the 'black' community is a community divided into two parts. A small clique of Middle-Class Americans, and a very large lethargic, violent and dangerous group of people. Ironically, more to themselves than anyone else. Hell, even Bill Cosby famously agreed.

And by blaming "Whitey", perhaps as LBJ said, you could make them vote Democratic for the next century. But you've failed them miserably as human beings. You've broken their homes, encouraged the ghetto style among other disasters. And from this vantage point, can Blacks and can America ever recover? I honestly don't know. My faith in an American Restoration is slimmer by the day.

Well, it would have to happen first.

My experience it is an attitude issue in the black community. Obviously not everyone does this but my experience from the 70's forward is a black person, usually young, will walk across the road oblivious to traffic and stopping traffic. I doubt it is true oblivion but a conscious act. I don't think I have ever seen a mature black person do this. I have lived mostly in mixed neighborhoods all my life so see this quite often. It has always irritated me and also baffled me because it is such a stupid thing to do. I do not know the thinking behind it obviously. When it comes to a group of girls, groups in general, white or black, tend to reinforce and amplify whatever attitude is present.

That's is an issue in my neighborhood, and it's the adults most of the time. Coming home at night it is very common for them to be walking in the middle of the street, and when you pull up to them they just stand there and look at you, then they move as slowly as possible to get out of the way and give you looks like you are not supposed to be driving on their road.

Happens a lot on city streets here, and it seems they love crossing the road when cars have the right of way, instead of waiting for red lights. It is like they enjoy stopping traffick.
