Ct has a rich history of firearms manufacture. The smart ones have already emptied the buildings and moved. Some are large yet operate with low profits (mossberg) . They claim to want to stay and fight but realistically it's financially impossible for them to move at this time. Maybe never.
One of the largest, Colt, has already expressed plans that all future expansion will not happen in this state but elsewhere. What's known as a slow move.
Dan Dan the Tax Man is a true progressive. He has no concerns about lost revenue. The government will get their money one way or the other. It will be squeezed out of some other source.
You are right it will hurt in the long run but our politicians will not feel a thing.

The tyrants don't mind the money, but they're perfectly willing to be the king of the hill of a manure pile, so long as they're recognized as king.

King Obama could be president of a strong nation. He's deliberately making the US weak...because he still king in his own tiny mind. If the Americans surrender with their feet, the Rodents get to keep all of Connecticut...including those two Senate seats, making the position of the pro-American states that much weaker.

New York has, over the last thirty years, forced almost all it's major industries out of the upstate regions....making the fascist paradise of New York City that much stronger, to the point that New York will never be repaired. The fascist politicians DO NOT CARE, not so long as they keep winning elections. And the fools left in New York City don't care...Anthony Weiner actually got more than one vote in his effort to be elected mayor.

Putting all the Americans in a smaller space is one of the goals of the fascist...it makes them easier to round up when the time comes.

As I believe I've stated already in this thread I would be shocked if any Ct court overturned any part of this law. Honest interpretations of the constitution never get in the way of a blue state.

Please, you guyz, STOP playing into the hands of the *******s by using THEIR definitions of OUR guns. There is ONLY one gun chambered in 5.56 that can be rightly called an "assault weapon". It's the mini-gun, mounted to an attack helicopter. Our military has the M-4, which is a proper "assault rifle", in that in some versions, it has selective fire. The AR that you are able to purchase is simply a "rifle" or "carbine".
I can't stress enough that there are lines being drawn here that are as sensitive (or more) than those that sparked the first American Civil War. States like CT., NY., CA., NJ. etc... are instigating by challenging the CONUS, while States like Idaho, OK., etc... are going the other way, by refusing to acknowledge unconstitutional federal gun laws. At this point, it's just a matter of time...

Obama is OK, but he is a rotten centrist, wants to please right and left. He did not support stricter gun laws, did not close Guantanamo and did not jail Wall Street banksters. Of course, gun control laws are needed. Perhaps, our next president will do something goo in this direction.

 

I cant possibly imagine how insecure and scared one must be to find such comfort and safety in living under such a powerful government. I find it amusing that people who fancy themselves as educated and intelligent are so easily fooled by strawman distractions. This has nothing to do with guns, this is about circumventing the constitution while getting the support of the public in doing so. You dont have to take away a peoples rights if you can convince them to surrender them voluntarily. Once the gun control nuts figure out what damage was done it will be too late.
