You're telling me that if the Taliban break their agreement, we can start from scratch and hunt for them all over again? I know you like to troll but I didn't think you liked to do it in such a way that that you would paint yourself as childish. I mean, are you trying to make me look good? Thanks I guess.
no, i didn't say that, it means we can activate the drone missile, we already know where they are obviously you have no clue what you're talking about it's not possible
Some ultra-partisans seem hellbent on pre-judging and American soldier. I prefer to trust in the US Code of Military Justice that is applicable only after the the prisoner has been released from Haqqani Network captivity, and can be adjudged on whatever charges may be applicable. I have no sympathy for those who prefer Haqqani justice for an American soldier. None.
Will someone please plug in Natty's brain if the Army is allowed to court martial bergdahl and arrive at a verdict.
he's got you pegged The Republicans: #1 Conservative Christians #2 Religious fanatics (look at the presidential candidates they presented) #3 Want to seriously limit the freedoms of women (till nothing is left ?) #4 Oppose equality for man and woman. (oppose equal pay for women) #5 Want to redefine RAPE so it can be blamed more to the woman #6 Are in favor of a theocracy The Taliban: #1 Conservative Muslims #2 Religious fanatics (speaks for itself) #3 Want to seriously limit the freedoms of women (till nothing is left ?) #4 Oppose equality for man and woman. (oppose education for women) #5 RAPE is always blamed on the woman #6 Are in favor of a theocracy
None of that is true. Most conservative Christian republicans would say that the rights of adult woman to engage in wanton sex are not in question. But their rights end where the right to life of the unborn human being that they help create begins.
Let me repeat since you must have missed it: Most conservative Christian republicans would say that the rights of adult woman to engage in wanton sex are not in question. But their rights end where the right to life of the unborn human being that they help create begins.
You may not be aware of it, but the US Army's court marshall of any soldier is a possibility, but not whilst he is a prisoner of the enemy.
We know where they are because... in the agreement they promised to stay in Qatar for a year? - - - Updated - - - I'm aware that people who spell Court Martial as "court marshall" are probably not familiar with the UCMJ.
I'm a republican but am not a Christian. To expand on my first response, I'm not religious at all. To me liberals like Nancy Pelosi, whose every action is guided (in her words) by "the word" are religious fantatics. Except that I don't want to limit the freedoms of anyone, so you are wrong again. You mean like the Obama White house, where women are paid less? My stance on rape is that rapists should be executed. How on earth does that equate to blaming the woman? That's news to me. I know a tremendous number of Republicans, and not a single one of them wants anything like that. It is clear that you know literally nothing about Republicans. Your ignorance is astounding.
My orthographic latitudinarianism may offend some sticklers, but the principle pertains. Relegating justice for an American soldier to the Taliban is a noxious notion.
you're mistaken, i didn't address that reply to you i think it's safe to say that you're a rare exception
Bergy has been in US Army custody for a week. He's not with the taliban now. But since you the other libs are now in sleep mode on this subject we cant expect you to know that.
of course you didn't get what he was saying the president was right to free bergdahl from the taliban
When you make blanket statements about groups I belong to, you are indeed addressing me. I'm hardly a rare exception. The vast majority of the people I attended business school with are Republicans. Hardly any of them are Christian other than the ones from the Philippines. There is, of course, no end to the number of Democrats whose every move is guided by their faith (or so they claim, when it politically expedient to do so). To me, they seem just as fanatical as religious Republicans.
So Nancy Pelosi whose every action is guided by, in her words, "the word" isn't a religious fanatic? What kind of atheist are you? She literally doesn't do anything that God or the bible or Jesus or whatever it is she means by "the word" telling her to do it. And here is another religious zealot for you: Look at that lunatic guided by his unwavering faith. I'll wager he doesn't make a move without consulting the holy trinity or whatever it is that believers do. Bill Clinton, another apparent bible basher: Jimmy Carter apparently deeply religious and so on. As a non-believer myself, I simply don't grasp how people like you bash the religion of those you disagree with, but have no problem when it comes to those you don't. It is the same religion, is it not?
Yes I've heard of the NSA and CIA. That doesn't answer my question though. We know where they are because... in the agreement they promised to stay in Qatar for a year?
i've never seen her that way what a joke not overtly all of the people you mentioned are certainly against church interference with state matters we're watching them
bumping an older thread Bowe Bergdahl, The Movie: 'ZDT' Team Gets Ready Source: http://www.oregonlive.com/movies/index.ssf/2014/06/bowe_bergdahl_the_movie_zero_d.html Basically, Bergdahl will sell the rights to his story and probably never have to work again if he invests wisely. He'll get a cut from the movie and book profits. Meanwhile one of his brother-in-arms who served honorably, finished out his stint and resumed life as a transitioned soldier to civilian. Maybe he's stocking shelves at a Wal-Mart, an honest job but certainly not much in the way of pay. Maybe he's a security guard at a shopping mall. We've got two people on divergent paths. One chose to obey orders and stay within the confines of the outpost, the other willfully disobeyed orders and abandoned his post, abandoned his weapon and abandoned his brothers-in-arms. Granted, Bergdahl ran the risk of getting beheaded and did endure 5 years of captivity, but he'll come out ahead. Assuming the Army sweeps it all under the rug and decides to give him a general discharge and be done with it. Yes Bergdahl will get the interviews, movie scrips and book deals. Welcome to America...where apparently only suckers do the right thing anymore.
