If he is found guilty he should face the consequences, however there is a difference between being charged with something and being found guilty. One is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond all reasonable doubt, last time I checked. As a conservative anyone deserves this, yet it's the liberals already finding him guilty.

The idea that state senators would subject the fund to an independent audit is more than a year and a half old and by time the state legislature meets again Perry will be long gone from state elected office - whether or not prison has anything to do with that.

At this point in time it makes no difference whether or not Perry 'backs the idea.

This is another political witch hunt by this leftists. A Governor absolutely gets to threaten veto's. What is telling is that the Grand Jury REFUSED to call Rick Perry himself to testify. These are the same tactics they used on Delay.

 

Nobody is saying that leftwingers can't give blow jobs to strangers in men's bathrooms. But it is considered tacky.

 

I suspect a part of what is going on is that the Clinton gang is playing footsies with the NON-spanish speaking Latino former Mayor of San Antonio Julian Castro. Casting a shadow over Perry would enhance their shining the light on Hillary as the Clintons bring Castro into their spotlight.

It might even help pull the silver barrel of that blue state shotgun out of Wendy Davis' mouth.
