How did you come up with your online name?

Did you know that its in the urban dictionary?

 

The first time, no. But I do now because somebody once tried to use it as a slur against me.

But even now to me it's not gay. I consider people who say it is idiots.

Mine's pretty easy. I've always been interested in political science, even though I majored in something else. Thus, "pollycy".

 

I thought Tram Law was a specialty of legal practice.

My time doing rapid research and development in CMP (Chemical Mechanical Planarization). A coworker actually used it as a log on into the equipment computers during quality assurance evaluations, and... I stole the name for the internet.

I use a coupe other internet names, but maybe for another discussion.

 

I'm a travelling troubleshooter (some say troublemaker) and consultant. Yes, I'm a "road warrior".

 

Having been an over-the-road-trucker for 10 yrs. I've been known for 'over-doing' most things that I do (not a half-a$$er)! Which online includes posting exhaustive arguments! Actual 'over driving' in trucking is a ticketable offense meaning that a driver drove past his legal hours for the day---which I never did (officially!).

 

I chose Polydectes because I thought it was a funny name

 

I wish I had a more interesting story behind my username but I was a bouncer at nightclub for 6 years putting myself through school from the age of 22 - 28, the folks there (waitresses/bartenders/DJ's) all pretty much decided to give me the name "Big Poppa" because I'm 6'4 and 290lbs (1.93 m - 131 kg for you all on the metric system), it's just kinda stuck ever since.

 

Well you know what your grandkids are going to call you someday. Plus think of all the pervie teen boys that will stay away from your daughter(s.) Lol.

 

It was easy for me. No creativity needed at all.

 

Buwahaha! Well, if I ever have any children and they happen to be girls, then I know I was a pervy teen boy once myself, so I can tell you my stature isn't going to be much of a deterrent in that aspect.

They'll just not want to come over to the house for a visit. Ha!
