George Zimmerman Is In Legal Trouble Again The Huffington Post | By Simon McCormack | Posted: 09/12/2014 1:46 pm EDT Excerpts: "George Zimmerman is in legal trouble again. WSVN reports that his latest brush with the law came on Tuesday when Zimmerman allegedly threatened to kill a man during a road rage incident in Lake Mary, Florida. The man, whose name has not been reported, also told police Zimmerman was waiting for him at his work. Zimmerman allegedly admitted to police that he had an altercation with the man, but he won't face legal action because the man has declined to press charges. That's exactly how Zimmerman escaped his last two legal battles. In December, Zimmerman's girlfriend declined to press charges after she initially claimed he pointed a shotgun at her face during an argument last November. In September of last year, Zimmerman's ex-wife also declined to proceed with a case against her former husband after she claimed he threatened her and her father with a gun. In July of 2013, Zimmerman was found not guilty in the killing of unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. He has stayed in the headlines more than a year later. CORRECTION: An earlier version of this article referred to previous reports that Zimmerman was working as a security guard. The store at which he claimed to be working at the time denied that Zimmerman was an employee. That reference has been removed from the story." read: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/09/12/george-zimmerman-road-rage-threat_n_5811944.html ...... IMO: Zimmerman appears to have a close relationship with guns, threats, and close encounters of the other kind as he wades through another close call with the police. He has been and still is a walking bombshell that can go off and hurt someone else if he is not stopped. No one with his legal history should own a gun and here he is running around the town acting like a desperado from the Old Wild West with the local police watching over his sorry arse. I guess they just love to dress up in their riot gear, assault weapons, and armored militarized vehicles to arrest people at public protests, but an armed, highly volatile man carrying a gun and issuing threats doesn't appear to be an issue for the police in Florida. It is just a question of time before we hear of another series of Zimmerman bad decisions that will lead him into court once more.
We're not fixated. But we will not hesitate to point out the endless array of LOSERS the RW gets behind, supports, defends, circles the wagons for before the WORLD finds out what WE always knew. Criminals, trash, thieves, dirty and ALL self serving POS'. Zimmerman is the latest in the string. PALIN and her brood showed theirs yesterday (again). Perry's ego surpasses his ability and the feigned virtuous 'aw shucks' family values partisan hack would destroy a woman doing her job or anyone else that got in his way. Christie?? Who the F didn't know? Walker? We knew we just didn't know HOW dirty? McDonnell? The religious fair haired family values, short list for VP? Craven GREEDY political whore for some loans, attention and a Rolex?? Ron Paul buying caucus voters for CASH? And that's just his week's Republicans (and their surrogates) who made the news. Think about it! One week! (Just because FOX doesn't cover it, don't think others haven't).
It is not a fixation, it is a pathological obsession from the liberals with him and Palin. You do know GZ is so loved by those liberal haters, they would never just make anything up. I wonder if the video will surface? I bet it won't
He is a smalltime nobody and there are many other people more dangerous. I fail to see the reason for the obsessive fascination with this guy. I even tend to agree that the guy is something of a threat to people and should probably be arrested IF the evidence shows he commited a crime. The public would be safer with him locked up. Having said all of that however the incident where he shot Trayvon Martin was clearly not a crime. Just because a man is a criminal or potential criminal does not mean the government should use any excuse to lock him up. I am fairly confident that the authorities can deal with him effectively if needed and without massive force. Just get over it already
I saw no one on the right defend support or get behind Zimmerman. I believe what you are referring to is the fact that people agreed with the decision that his killing of Martin was justified and it was. This does not mean he is a hero to the right. If he commits a crime I doubt anyone would " stand behind him " What happened with Palin was a minor drunken altercation and was far more tame than many of the rapes and other crimes commited by members of the Kennedy family at their parties. Yet somehow that name alone get's people elected by lefties
That is again your fixation, it was less support of GZ but more about the liberal loon lynch mob mentality, so much like you displayed regarding Ferguson
Probably the same reason some here have a fixation of Hillary and Obama; Zimmerman is consistently making a name for himself and when you do that you're subject to being in the lime light.
Same as O.J. -- many feel that he did something wrong and that debt remains unpaid. He's being watched with careful scrutiny in the belief that anyone dumb enough to do what we think he did last time, will remain that dumb and is therefore an ongoing threat. He seems to be living up to expectations.
We will repeat. YOUR pick for VP of the US keeps her mouth shut (and no family domestic disputes involving COPS) and there is no reason for commentary. It is her PATHOLOGICAL NARCISSISM that keeps her opening her mouth as a surrogate of HER and YOUR party. She is fair game.
In a 911 call Tuesday, 35-year-old Matthew Apperson said Zimmerman became enraged while driving and began yelling he would shoot Apperson. "George Zimmerman was the driver, and they were threatening to kick my ... and to shoot me," Apperson told the dispatcher. Apperson said he drove to a gas station to call police and Zimmerman followed him, still making threats. Zimmerman was contacted by officers Thursday when Apperson again called police to say Zimmerman was again following him and he feared for his safety, according to the 911 call. continued. http://www.latimes.com/nation/nationnow/la-na-nn-george-zimmerman-road-rage-20140912-story.html
About 5 or 6 weeks ago I had an occasion to talk to a guy running for office. It was after ZIMMERMAN, yet again, had made the news (the I'm a security guard for a gun store story). This guy was an attorney from the area that Zimmerman is from. The story had broken a day or 2 before. I brought it up. He just kind of shook his head. His words were something to the effect, he didn't think he would end well. I told him I agreed. He implied that he thought Zimmerman might do himself in some day. I told him yes, but he won't go out alone. And THAT was what scared me.
Well, he chased 35-year-old Matthew Apperson and threatened to shoot him... and this was the second time he followed Apperson. George is a barking loon.
He claims? Really? Are you suggesting that all of the GZ haters would never make something like that up? In the world of cell phones, most with high end cameras, this would have been put on tape. Just reading the comments from you and many like you, this has entered into the rehlm of the boy who cried wolf
PARSING! The cops had to call and ask, does this IDIOT work for you? Close enough. Zimmerman's pathological narcissism and RW's pathological DENIAL. Astonishing. I know I know! WE Florida Democrats are putting him up to all of these brushes with the law. Yeah, that's it! I just hope to hell I live far enough away from him and he doesn't travel very far.
A list of George Zimmerman's past run-ins with the law. July 2005, Zimmerman was arrested and accused of resisting an officer with violence near the University of Central Florida campus after a scuffle with police. The charges were eventually dropped after Zimmerman entered an alcohol education program. August 2005, Zimmerman's former fiancee filed for a restraining order against him, alleging domestic violence. Zimmerman responded by requesting a restraining order against her. Both requests were granted. No criminal charges were filed. February 2012, Zimmerman fatally shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin during a confrontation in the community where Zimmerman was a neighborhood watch volunteer. Zimmerman was charged with second-degree murder but acquitted after a trial in July 2013. July 2013, police in Foley, Texas, stop Zimmerman for speeding in a 60 mph zone. Zimmerman is let go with just a warning. September 2013, Zimmerman is stopped by police in Lake Mary, Fla., and given a ticket for doing 60 mph in a 45 mph zone. September 2013, Zimmerman's estranged wife, Shellie, dials 911 and tells a police dispatcher that her punched her father and threatened her with a gun. She later decides against pressing charges and authorities announce in November they are dropping the case. September 2013, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper stops Zimmerman along Interstate 95 and issues a warning because the vehicle's tag cover and windows were too darkly tinted. November 2013, Zimmerman is arrested by Seminole County authorities after a disturbance at a home in Apopka. Wow Margot, I would be so concerned with all those traffic tickets. Like I said, a psychosis of the liberal loons
Well, let's see, I haven't had THAN MANY brushes with the law, charges filed, not filed, exonerated or NOT in my 63 years on the planet! HAS THE REST OF THE BOARD? Is the norm for those on the Right? Or is Zimmerman just one unlucky SOB?
Who is us guys? What horse do you mean? Serious about what? Maybe some cognitive thought would help with your post.
