Well, in 31 states you can marry somebody of the same sex and get tax benefits. So seems like your argument is both wrong and pointless.

???? Well, it is YOUR argument that tax breaks and governmental entitlements are "liberty", and mine is that they are not. You havent demonstrated that my argument is wrong and it has just as a point as your contradictory claim.

    You are making a strawman.

I said marriage was a liberty.

Like I said, you can marry your dog if you like. No law will prevent you from doing so. You have the liberty to do so. You simply wont get the tax breaks and governmental entitlements. And tax breaks and governmental entitlements aren't a liberty.

LOLOL! I said you can marry your dog if you like, and even if your dog is of the same sex, you get no tax breaks and governmental entitlements. Im not wrong and the point escapes you.

In 31 states they do. Again pointless statements.

okay, since you can't really understand in 31 states you can marry somebody of the same sex thus qualifying for the tax brakes. So again your statements are wrong and pointless.

I understand just fine. I SAID you can marry your dog if you like. You just dont get the tax breaks and governmental entitlements. Its a fact. Nothing "wrong" there. AND IN THOSE 19 states you can marry someone of the same sex, but you just dont get the tax breaks and governmental entitlements soooooooooo we can see who it is that is pointlessly grasping for refuge in a strawman.

Why blame individuals when our elected representatives are so fond of micromanaging tax codes while claiming to hate shell games with Statism.

Tax breaks are part of marriage. They are inseparable.

No one is blaming individuals, you silly little man. And aren't you the one insisting that government micromanage the application of the tax codes to homosexual couples through marriage?

Actually, I personally know of a homosexual couple here in conservative central Texas who got married at the local church of Christ, and do not receive the tax breaks and governmental entitlements of marriage. They are quite easily seperable.

And a marriage license isn't required to exercise any liberty.
