What the hell are you talking about? Are you sane? I am showing everyone here where to put their money, you got the Taco Bell dog on a suicide mission. This is the economics section, not the conspiracy section.

the punk is bragging about his money, I asked him if he "thought" that money could save him from somebody who wanted him dead, he posted some drivel about 40 punks being able to save him, I demonstrated about how ANYBODY can be reached, in spite of their having 400 bodyguards. there's 168 hours in the week. people get lazy/careless if you dont give them shifts. and supervision. so 400 guards means only 100 on duty at any given time. 100 guys cant protect you for the 1/2 mile radius that a good rifleman can reach you from. You'd have tolive in a bunker, travel in a tank and sleep while wearing a moon suit and gas mask. :) u're just here to PO people, so eff you.

I would go (am ) going all in physical metals, small mine (TNX/TRX) , no over leveraged ETF please, as I believe we have hit the bottom. I would love to play. So are you going long GOOGL , DIS, MSFT for a combined gain. From when to when?
Right now Gold is $1180 and silver $16.00 TNX is $1.38 CAD.

So spend $3 million on Precious Metals and we'll see how it goes. I will keep my stock ticker for another week... a month of holding DMG should be sufficient to make my point.

Not defensive at all... join the game. Spend $3 million on Presious Metals then keep tabs on the spots for the next month.

no, I said that YOU will have to live in a bunker. I have a simple hole in the ground, with adequate supplies for one such as I.

We can continue this conversation if you honestly answer me this:

    -How firearms do you have?
-How rounds of ammo do you have?

From this launching point we can jump into any of a host of topics.

Screw speculative markets Go with commodities! Weed, guns, and ammo are a more lucrative investment. Legalization hasn't affected black market prices and as the world - esp. the US - get crazier by the year, the guns and ammo and for that matter, the weed too, are almost a guaranteed winner. At least they're a great hedge! lol :weed:

I agree. Screw speculative markets. Stick to $500 billion and up companies that are not going anywhere. And of them, the entertainment industry is the strongest... they may be (*)(*)(*)(*) poor but when that new IPhone comes out they're lined up, cash in hand, to buy one. This is where the money is.

Marijuana from what I hears goes for about $100/ounce in California which is causing a problem because that's near the Break Even Point of the manufacture, leaving many growers holding on to growing stashes they refuse to sell for less than $100. This means it is abundant.

I pay $400/ounce here for the government stuff. It's $200 in NYC but I am not a mule. There is money to be made on the East Coast with pot. I would love to open a smoke shop that sells juice when pot becomes legal everywhere.

The thing is that even in the Great Depression it never got as bad as the modern apocalyptics say it's going to be. At least I never heard that law and order broke down utterly in the 1930's, government collapsed, mobs from the cities rampaged through the countryside etc.

Then again, there's pretty good evidence that what we call the "Dark Ages" was actually an era of increased freedom and even peace and prosperity for the common man, so who knows. There are always wars and rumors of wars, but civilization, somehow, abides.

    I agree, that is wise.

    Disney 6,299 shares $92.94
    Microsoft 21,758 shares $47.59
    Google 2,694 shares 533.37

I sell 94 shares of Google for $50,134.00 and spend $15,000 on guns and ammo and $25,000 on food rations which I will rotate- a five year supply of food and water... and with the last 10,000 I will lead line my basement and add additional braces for the house, which is stone.

    -Disney 6,299 shares $92.94
    -Microsoft 21,758 shares $47.59
    -Google 2,600 shares 533.37
    -$15,000 in guns and ammo
    -$25,000 for 5 years' food
    -$10,000 for bunker

I will buy 2 machine guns, a sniper rifle, 4 handguns and about 10,000 bullets- they're going to be the new currency, right?
$25,000 for food... well I will buy 8,333 cans of soup for $3.00 each.

Dod I cover all my bases?

I have decided to cash out and now invest in PMs:

    Sell Disney 6,299 shares $92.94 585,429
    Sell Microsoft 21,758 shares $47.59 1,035,463
    Sell Google 2,600 shares 533.37 1,386,762

    TOTAL: $3,000,007,652

    I also have:

    -$15,000 in guns and ammo
    -$25,000 for 5 years' food
    -$10,000 for bunker

I buy 1 million in copper at $2.94/lb: 170 tons
    I buy 1 million silver at $17.12/oz: 29 tons
    I buy 1 million gold at $1229.20 813 ounces

The remaining $7,652 gets me some warehouse space to hold this stuff.

I started out with $3 million.

Keeping in mind I already have my ready-made bunker of:

    -$15,000 in guns and ammo
    -$25,000 for 5 years' food
    -$10,000 for bunker

    I also have:

    170 tons of copper at $2.96/lb: 1,006,400
    58,000 silver at $17.03/oz: 987,740
    813 gold at $1221.80: 993,323

    TOTAL (Cash In Hand): 2,987,643.00
I think my $6,000 loss-per-day on metals made a point.

I am going to do something different.
I am investing in Disney. I see an uptrend setting it at a peak of $100 at the end of 2014.

I buy 32,665 shares of Disney at $91.49 per share

I anticipate to say Happy New Year with Disney at $100 and my portfolio at $3,266,500

    -----------------------------------------

I open the floor to discussion... I believe I have showed many things obviously to you people.

While Disney will go up for the rest of the year, I will wait for Exxon to go down- it's currently at $87.28 so I would probably take it at $80.00. This is an excellent time to load up on your non-renewable resources!
