According to police he acted irresponsibly. An adult would have identified themselves and wouldn't have acted like a creepy stalker.

What difference do you think it would have made?

Absolutely. One of my best friends is a black single mother. She blew through 2 husbands, and her 2 boys have different fathers, now both deceased. But my friend decided when her first was born that she was going to devote her life to raising him, then later the second one. And boy, oh boy, did she do a fine job. One is now 22, the other 19. Every time I see those boys and see the respect and love they have for their mother, I literally want to cry for all the fatherless kids out there for what they could have if only someone cared enough about them. Those 2 boys are the finest examples of humanity and I'm very proud to call them my friends.

There is no evidence that GZ assaulted the child before the gunshot........there is ample evidence that the child assaulted GZ.......pretty simple really.......unless you are blinded by race.

I don't know and it does not make sense at this point to even speculate, but being a methodical, organized and deliberate individual that pays attention to detail, that dummy demonstration puzzled me. It would be like throwing a foam smurf ball at a window to demonstrate how a rock could not have broken it.

No, you are pointing out a perceived error , I'm educating you on why you are wrong with that perceived error.

What error is there in pointing out what I pointed out?

That an objection would have stopped it. BTW , sorry if my last post was rude , you have been very respectful.

You, like a lot black people, seem to be consumed by race.

    You are blinded by it.

Put your opinion of the case on hold and pretend that this video is not related to this case and tell me if it is not ridiculous to use this foam dummy to replicate the weight and motion of a full grown man. Keep in mind that I am referring to the part where the attorney lifts the top part of the dummy off the ground repeatedly....the 1:48 mark in the video...

Zimmerman trial attorneys use dummy for demonstration

The only thing one needs to do in order for you to accuse them of being a racist is say, " I disagree".

Yes , it's not the most accurate Demo as far as weight . But an objection wouldn't have prevented it , it was just a good move by the state .

He wasn't on trial for acting like a jackass. Luckily he wasn't cause he would be in jail right now.

If I'm not mistaken, all exhibits must be shared prior to them being used and in that case, the prosecution had the right to object to the dummy demo and insisted upon a more lifelike facsimile.

Why don't you explain the legal difference between "pronounced innocent" and not guilty.

    This should be fun.

And while you're at it, why don't you explain why obama's Racist justice

department with that Racist holder leading it didn't bring any civil rights violations

    against Zimmerman the white Hispanic.

The forensic evidence would show that.

Getting back to the OP - look, it's become expected nowadays (sadly) for reporters, anchormen, commentators, and entire press agencies to lie about anything, even when they don't have to. But good grief - some TV hostess wishing harm on someone? That's taking it to a whole new level. This goes beyond lying to - well, geez, I dunno what.

And isn't this the same chick who had to apologize about some racially insensitive crack about Romney's adopted black grandchild? You'd think she'd learn.

So you are in favor of folks going to jail for 'acting like a jackass'............wow, you would be serving a life sentence........and I mean that in a complimentary way.......LOL

Good story and your friend is a shining example of excellent parenting and she did it all by herself. It can be done......

2 of the many things I expected of my kids was this old-fashioned thing called 'respect' and.... well, can't say I 'expected' this from them, but always told my kids to 'talk to me! You can talk to me about anything you want. Even if you think I was unfair about something, tell me how you feel' and we'd sit around the table and talk about issues.... that communication b/t parent & kid is so important.

Possibly , but that gets very subjective. It was a good play by the defense.

    Wrong again,

you look at and work with the evidence.

The evidence was clear in this case.

Google is your friend...you have fun reading this because I already knew the difference...

...and in case you have not noticed, I have not gotten caught up in the redundant debate over this case.

There is absolutely no difference between "innocent" and "not guilty". One is innocent until proven guilty. If one is not guilty, s/he remains innocent.

    MOD EDIT - Rule 3
