MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry Hopes Trayvon Martin 'Whooped The S*** Out Of Zimmerman

On Tuesday, news broke that the U.S. Department of Justice would not bring charges against George Zimmerman for the slaying of unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin. Though Attorney General Eric Holder called Martin's death a "devastating tragedy," he conceded that the case did not meet "the high standard for a federal hate crime prosecution."

A day before the announcement, however, MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry said she hoped Martin died fighting for his life, during a speech at Cornell University's annual Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Lecture.

"I hope [Martin] tried to stay alive. I hope he knew that he lived in a state with a 'Stand Your Ground’ law. And I hope he whooped the (*)(*)(*)(*) out of George Zimmerman," Harris-Perry said. "And it’s not disreputable because he encountered a stranger who was prepared to kill him, and you know how I know? Because he killed him."

Harris-Perry's speech, titled “We Can’t Breathe: The Continuing Consequences of Inequality,” was first posted by the Cornell Review, the university's "only conservative and libertarian publication." The newspaper's blog slammed the MSNBC host's speech as "an hour-long comedy routine" and "an embarrassment for Cornell."

Martin was killed three years ago on Feb. 26, 2012.

Wowerz. Where to begin? I find it troubling this lady has a job in the "news" industry... with nasty and ignorant opinions such as the one she is sharing about this. But, that is my opinion only....what say you?

What a class act, she said that during a speech at a university. She's lucky, her race protects her from being called a racist. Mine doesn't.

 

Yup, she gets a free pass to pretty much say anything... no one wants to go after a minority.

 

She's a racist black supremacist. Of course she hopes that. She doesn't even care that Zimmerman is Peruvian. She hates white people so much that she's willing to beat up a Hispanic man just because his skin color is "close enough."

I thought he did beat the (*)(*)(*)(*) out of him or at least was halfway there...isn' that why GZ claimed self defense? If the GZ supporters didn't believe that GZ got his butt kicked real good, why would you support his shooting an unarmed teen? You should be hoping the same thing Perry is hoping if your support of GZ is valid.

 

Was the scuffle even a disputed fact based on the physical evidence?

Early on it was. I do think that Zimmerman was truly in fear of his life, and rightfully so. He did have the (*)(*)(*)(*) whooped out of him. That is what gave him the justification to use deadly force.

 

Clearly the right is hypocritical. If the kid was going to get killed, he at least should have done something to warrant such a violent response. Are you saying that you hope that Zimmerman overreacted and that the shooting was not justified as a result of the physical encounter? You are speaking out of both sides of your mouth.

All Trayvon had to do was say 'Yes sir.........I be staying with my father in unit 307.....I'm on my way home from the 7-11"........and he would be alive today........and we wouldn't know either of their names. Instead he chose to be a bad ass and teach Whitey a lesson.......too bad......so sad

Did you miss the trial? TM did do something that warranted lethal action....hence the not guilty verdict.

 

Don't you get it, the left thinks Zimmerman should have let Martin beat him to death. They think it's only fair Zimmerman dies, after all claims he was following a suspicious character through a neighborhood but everyone knows young people don't commit crimes, neither do black people. They are simply victims of an unjust system designed to hold them down. White people gun blacks down in this country with reckless abandonment.

 

Her intent is to get attention since absolutely nobody watches her show, or any other show on the network that employs her. What better way then to be herself?

 

These are the dumbass moonbats that will get other black youth killed. Trying to "whoop" someones ass is what got him killed in the first place. I hope minority parents out there are smart enough and care enough about their children to point out how wrong this woman is. The parents teaching to whoop ass will have a higher percentage rate of attending their childrens funerals. But it sounds like some care more about catering to thug mentality as this DB did instead of pointing out how that mentality is going to get more youth killed. As I stated before, we are watching natural selection at work right before our eyes.
