No they are not. The requirements are very different for anyone from the US. For instance, you must have a degree to move from the US to Canada. Canada does not require a degree from any other country, just the US.
Canada is amassing all one dozen of its armed soldiers, and arming them with tommy guns and bi planes.
Canada should be called DSA. Disunited States of America. It's a British colonial backwater. Canadians cant apologize enough and they have much to apologize for.
The Canadian threat: After they apologize for apologizing.
hmmm, Americans depending on Canadian health care, and after we just had a thread attacking Canadians for using American health care?
they close this one at night now anyways "The cost-cutting measure locks the border gate from midnight to 8 a.m." guess they will need to set up some private health care from midnight to 8am .
Taking advantage of the Canadian healthcare system is not quite right.. especially if the Canadians have to keep their facilities going 24/7 to accommodate Americans who won't go to their own doctors during the week.
Its just another step in our dastardly plan. Get the enemy to become dependent on our fabulous healthcare and then cut em' off during our "sleepy time". Canadians are trained from an early age not to demand healthcare services from 12 to 8 and its even in our socialist, nation destroying union contracts. For all their hubris, Americans are sure easy to OUT SMRT. Won't be long now before the Maple Leaf is flying over congress and the white house, Timmy's will become the official coffee of the nation, Hockey in prime time will the law of the land, New Hampshire maple syrup production will be shut down and healthcare will become single payer.
And we Nova Scotians have an especially good reason to be relatively pro-America. Some of my ancestors were United Empire Loyalists from down south in Dixie by the name of Mason. They were allowed to travel by ship to Country Harbour, Guysborough County, Nova Scotia Canada with amazing freedom, considering that our nations were at war. What we should do . is honestly look at the flaws in our central banking policy that are artificially increasing our national debt in order to break unions .. and once we look this over we will know how to not be so terribly cheap! www.BankingSystemFlaws.blogspot.ca/
But….. in the case of a genuine emergency would not all of us want to go to the nearest hospital? Alaska is so huge that it is only logical that there could be a few communities where the closest hospital is in Canada.
True…… but it will be a win - win - win - win scenario if we Canadians would admit how we played a significant role in the messing up America's central banking policy! http://www.christianforums.com/t7653888/ An apology to all Americans from a Canadian, and a thank you! …..I also wish to apologize for our elitism because it has been playing a significant role in your economic crash of 2008. If a higher percentage of Americans understood the full implications of truly wise monetary policy the world would begin to look quite different indeed! There are many reasons why a guy with an obviously French last name would have the ability to see through the bovine excrement type of information that we Brits tend to peddle!!!!!
Humane, Western Nations believe Emergency Medical Care is a Human Right. How does La Canada fit? How can a civilized Nation morally deny their neighbors access to Emergency Medical Care? Even Israel treats Palestinians from the territories at Israeli more advanced medical centers. Closing the border when people are in need is hardly a good neighbor. More like an "act of war" and should be met in kind. Moi r > g View attachment 34558 Now More Than Ever!
The problem with Canadian borderline authorities is that they are on TV. I can watch them on pay per view TV in a program called "Airport Security - Canada" [I don't know why, but in that program they show also land and water borderline Canadian police ... where the hell do planes take land in Canada????]. So, now they feel to be Hollywood stars, or something like that ...
Have you witnessed the (faux) politeness? I'd rather face a rude wop. There is honesty in rudeness. Denial of Emergency Medical Care, regardless of how politely, is a denial of Human Rights. & Moi r > g View attachment 34563 Restore Newfoundland & Labrador autonomy Restore Provincial Rights and HBC Deeds. Things are changing, pressures on Canadian authorities work: http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/border-denies-alaska-town-emergency-medical-care-night-30101617 About "Airport Security", the producers proposed something also to Italian Airports, but to put the words airport and security together about Italy would be quite curious ... our Airport authorities are not that tremendous in filtering the incoming traffic ... simply because if a group of terrorist takes land in Italy ... they will get lost soon in Roman airports! And they will take an other flight to Romania or to China thinking to take the flight connection to Milan ...
The O.P. is either trolling of barely functionally ret@rded. First of all, this has nothing to do with Canada threatening our sovereignty (unless, of course, one does not understand what that word means). Second, as stated in the link, the residents in the U.S. town will still have 24 hour access to the medical services in the Canadian town.
Excuse Moi ! Did YOU read your link? The solution is: Americans in dire need of emergency medical services can access by " telephoning border services.". I bet they get a recording saying the border office is closed between midnight and 8 AM. Denial of emergency medical care is a denial of a human right. America use to stand up for what is right. Fine, If you believe a heart attack in progress and human rights involves waiting for Border services after hours line to pick up I respectfully disagree. Sovereignty is threatened by causing an inconvenience to Americans on American turf. Encourage Americans to move out and, voila, hegemony, Canadians move in. It is a very old, international game. And currently, Canada is the aggressor. Tell Me It Ain't So! Moi r > g View attachment 34566 Solution: Border Adjustment
American access to healthcare is not a Canadian concern, nor is it their responsibility. According to the article emergency services are still available 24 hours a day. So why make make such a big deal over such a small thing? This certainly does not constitute "Canada threatens Americans".
