"As if the actions of police departments across the United States weren’t already out of control, they have now stepped it up to a new level. As you know, the police are now acting as a quasi Supreme Court of the United States and can now even pass the death sentence without consulting a jury.

Recently, due to the police’s total disregard for human rights, citizens have found a perfect way to expose these brutalities by the police by most often filming them secretly when they are engaged in these illegalities. This discreet filming of the police has uncovered important revelations about how the police kill, harass and abuse innocent citizens for no apparent, legitimate reason.

In one such secret filming in New York, Michael Barber, a member of the ‘Police Watch’ group — a local vigilante organization — filmed two plainclothes police officers grabbing and harassing a young girl in public. Witnesses can be heard in the video shouting at the officers to leave the teenage girl alone.

After the pressure from the crowd built up, the officers were seen in the video rushing back to their unmarked vehicles and fleeing the scene, yelling obscenities at the young girl as they took off.

Barber later uploaded the video onto social media sites and it sparked outrage against these unscrupulous officers. Many have called for their dismissal from the police department for shaming the girl in public for no valid reason.

“I was surprised that things didn’t get worse. I believe he was wrong from the very beginning and that’s why he didn’t call it in,” Barber said, regarding the video he recorded.

Instead of reflecting on the incident and making sure that a similar incident will not occur in the future, the official Facebook page of the 30th Precinct New York Police Department (NYPD), whose officers were involved in the shameful act against the girl, posted a disgusting and unacceptable comment regarding the video saying, “F*ck these savages, they should all die a nice slow death!”

This is truly disgusting. A nice slow death to those who would videotape the police or try to keep them honest? The comment was posted on the official facebook page of the 30th precinct of the NYPD. Thoughts?

My thought is that maybe they're tired of having the people that they risk their lives to protect sit back and declare their every lawful and procedurally correct action to be "raaaaaccccciiiisstttttt".

That's a rough part of town up there, the 30th. Um.... my thoughts are, that maybe the NYPD has a few bad apples still. They have a powerful union, it dictates a lot of things at the mayoral level. But this sounds to me a lot like the Baltimore FOP, they look at their constituents as rabble to be managed and kept under control.

Regardless of how you feel about the "police brutality" bit, the above can't be helpful.

If you treat your constituents like rabble, you can't be surprised when they become rabble. Art invents life, as do police perceptions. Same with the "terrorist" thing, there weren't any till they started talking about 'em.

Cops are the scum of the earth. To call a cop a pig is to insult the pig.

Not true. We simply need the good cops to hold the bad cops accountable and weed them out. Problem solved. The blue line is the entire source of the problem between the police and citizens.

To be fair we don't know if the person who made the comment is an actual NYPD officer of course. They were officially representing the precinct on social media though. He/she is certainly not alone in their feelings among those who represent the NYPD.

Take a good look at the psychology that's going on there, though.

"You can't fix stupid, you should not respond unless you know the facts, obviously you don't, but the idiot recording it like you did not know what happened... That is the problem, KNOW THE FACTS BEFORE YOU RESPOND".

This guy thinks he knows the facts and the videotaper doesn't.

This is this particular cop's reality - he thinks he has dibs on the truth. And, it's very clear from what he's saying that he considers the video to have been "interference" into police affairs.

In other words, police affairs are no concern of the citizenry, and the citizenry is so stupid they don't know what's going on and are basically incapable of handling the truth anyway...

This is some heavy stuff. Why are the poster's names redacted? You know we're going to find out anyway, right? Whoever posted that on the official site is in for a suspension and a fine, at the very least. Maybe even a little disciplinary action, maybe a restriction and a reduction in rank.... like that.

Cops who view their constituents as rabble are definitely a problem.

On the other hand, politicians do that too...

What facts are missing for you? The outrage is that the 30th precincts official facebook page made that comment about citizens. You're not cool with police talking like that about citizens who exercise their right to film police are you?

Do police officers screw up or make poor judgment calls in pressure cooker situations or sometimes say the wrong thing? Sure. But if you're going to call for them to be fired every time they do that, then why aren't we holding teachers to the same level of accountability when their jobs are substantially less stressful and dangerous? Or how about public officials? Or how about union thugs and their leaders? And don't give me this "it's because they're cops and they're supposed to be above all that" crap, people are people.

    How do you know that?

Of course it might be real. It's a terrorist threat. Same as anyone else - if anyone else but a cop said that in public it would be taken very seriously.

It's a good idea to ascertain the authenticity of the story.

Follow my line of reasoning here. There is no way in hell the "bad cops" could get away with what they do without the "good cops" looking the other way and refusing to report the actions of the bad cops. Now according to law, what the good cops are doing is facilitating the bad cops to the point of being accessories to the crimes the bad cops commit.

Go on YouTube and spend a couple of hours watching videos of cops committing crimes and look at how many cops are witnessing their crimes without doing anything to stop it. So ask yourself who is more guilty, the one cop who repeatedly commits crimes, or the several cops who make his crimes possible by refusing to keep their oath?
