I think people have been suggesting that for years, yet it falls on deaf ears. Like we need forces in S. Korea, Germany, the UK, ect, ect. All we need is an office with some admins.

It's not a true statement though. Every time the Republicans try to secure the border, the Democrats start screaming about the poor illegals and their poor families and the poor workers who can't fend for themselves any other way.... my take is, it's mainly the Democrats that have been obstructing border security. The Republican "corporate" interest in that, is fairly recent compared to the Democrats' bleeding hearts. However I agree that the Republican leadership has gotten on board with the "open borders" thing, and I don't like it, and I don't thing many other righties do either. That's one of the reasons I'm not a Republican, I'm not willing to sacrifice our national security for a few corporate dollars.

C'mon.......liberals abort so many of their Democrat voters straight from the womb, they need to import more just to keep up.

So the party whose base wants open borders with Mexico (so that they come here and vote Democrat) apparently wants to "make investments" in "securing the border"?

    What a joke.

So let me get this straight, we are going to pretend we haven't had an immigration problem for the last 30 years? During which time the GOP controlled the government 2/3rds of those 30 years, but it's somehow obamas fault?

Lol, this is why nobody takes conservatives seriously.

This is now legion. That particularly this White House acts as if the Mafia.
What do the Mafia do when questioned. They insist they were never in the vicinity
and then do everything in their power to frame-up another in order to shift blame.
Which is exactly what we've come to expect from this WH.
It's as old a tactic as the hills.I suppose the same accusation were made during the
    conquests in the Ottoman Empire.
How pathetically lame.Chicago has one of the Strictest gun laws in all the land
yet each year during 4th of July out come the guns and the shooting.
It's the Republicans who make them do it.
It the same kiddie excuse the dog ate my homework,
    Does anyone buy that pap.

I blame both parties, but at least the more macho members of the GOP did a little something. The Democrats only 'solution' is to allow more of them. Which, if you're a US Citizen it's not a solution at all. Washington is disenfranchising ALL of us. Enough of our damn compassion, it's going to strip us of our own country some day.

Hell no. Rahm Emanuel the mayor of Chicago was all over the airwaves yesterday begging for "stricter gun control". No kidding!

Chicago already has the strictest gun control in the nation, and look what good it's doing. None! !!!

How long do they have to beat their heads against a wall before they'll realize they're barking up the wrong tree? Like, this is the best the Mayor has to offer? Begging the public for more authority to regulate guns? That's really sad....

You got it .According to many in ICE and also Immigration Obama policy
is simple. No deporting of Illegals will be ongoing.Maybe an occasional
example here or there for a photo op.
Obama Policy is clear.Any Department of Immigration or ICE official
who does not follow to the letter the Obama Immigration Doctrine will either
be Fired or both Fired and charges brought up.
Virtually everything Obama touches sours.he makes worse.
Name one doggone thing Obama as President made better for Americans or
    Americana.
Besides more Government freebies, benefits or Government jobs & promotion.

NOBODY is doing anything. That was my point.

    And the republican solution is?

Your posts are painful to read.

FYI.......Obama has deported more illegals than any previous president.

ICE wanted this guy held to be deported but SF refused. How is this Obama's fault or have anything to do with amnesty?

    - - - Updated - - -

Local officials dropped those charges a few days later and released Sanchez onto the street despite a request from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to detain him for deportation.

    Really?

It's NOT the Republicans disarming the law abiding citizens in San FranSICKO, CA! It's the damn Democrats that are not allowing law abiding citizens to legally CCW in California!

And it's NOT the Republicans wanting third world undocumented illegal immigrant felons to flood California and make sanctuary cities for them! It's the damn Democrats that want that!

In this case I have to applaud ICE but unfortunately even if deported again by the Obama administration, after five other times there is no reason at all to believe Francisco Sanchez wouldn't be right back in a sanctuary city like San Francisco again and again.

Therefore, Obama ultimately bears responsibility (not to mention that Obama has done absolutely NOTHING to take on federal law breaking sanctuary cities the way he went after Arizona, for enforcing the law).

Sorry. If something bad happened chances are it's Obama's fault. Obama wants people to believe he's stopped enforcing federal immigration law is so he can concentrate on felons and bad guys?

Well here is a bad guy (F. Sanchez) and Obama failed miserably in keeping this felon from entering the country.
    Obama can suck it!

I'm running for State Rep in PA, and if elected I'm going to propose the law that Democrats say they love, but let's see if they back it up: Employer Verification. I'll have it be a State Felony and strip all employers who hire illegals of their right to employ. So here's at least one Republican whose willing to walk the walk, and talk the talk. We as American Citizens should be guaranteed privileges derived SPECIFICALLY for Americans. Its the whole point of Statehood.

Your "hearts and minds" will make the US insolvent.

Maybe on account San Fransico is the stereotypically controlled Democrat
    example city.Unless Nancy Pelosi isn't on Obama's side.Or Salon.com.
Democrats favor sanctuary cities the GOP certainly does not.
    It is rather odd that the sheriff of San Fransico county { whatever county }
, is refusing to turn over this ILLEGAL scumbag to the Feds.
Maybe this WH made a call and decided on that also.

There is a "Legal" term you need to familiarize yourself with...........................

San Francisco setting the illegal free despite an IMMIGRATION HOLD IS appears to be the "proximate cause" of the young ladies death. Without their actions he would have been on a bus back to Mexico instead of on that pier with a gun. He had been deported 5 TIMES and came right back. The fact that he was able be deported 5 times and still cross the border and come back 5 times is a failure of the Government and the families of the victims need to be compensated BY the Federal Government and San Francisco City and County.

Blaming SF at least makes some sense, but blaming the Feds who wNted him detained doesn't

Sanctuary cities break 1996 federal law. https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/illegal_immigration_reform_and_immigration_responsibility_act

I don't care what happened in 1979 (if you are indeed right). Obama is president NOW! Do you think you can wrap your mind around that? If Obama can sue Arizona for enforcing federal immigration law than he can (if he gave a damn, which he doesn't) take on cities that just give our immigration laws the finger!

That he would pass the buck on this murder is typically cowardly and a load of bull crap!

“These last few years we’ve seen an unacceptable abuse of power at home. ... We’ve paid a heavy price for having a president whose priority is expanding his own power. The Constitution is treated like a nuisance.” - Barack Obama 2007

The irony is far more guilty of this than Bush ever was. His appointment of puppets in the DOJ made sure he'd never be called on it.

friend or buddy whose in Congress..Or even Governor.Which is a polite
way of saying the guys ... Creepy.
