    Really folks!?!?!

    How is this going to help race relations in our country???

    Shaming and blaming people isn't going to solve anything. In fact, it will most likely (*)(*)(*)(*) more people off.

    Why not have a show also called "black people" or "brown people" and talk about all the rapes, murders, and shootings that they cause, and the drag on our entitlement system that they impose?

    That would only be fair.

    For (*)(*)(*)(*) sake, self hating white people deserve shaming but not for the reasons on the video.
    The world as we know it with all the technology, and medicine was invented by the white man. Shame? Only shame should be on those who were to weak,and backwards to develop, because they were too busy rain dancing.

    They should just make a show where all white people bend over and be gang raped by every other race and nationality. Then, when the rape is done, all the white people could kill themselves. Sound crazy? It's probably already in discussion somewhere

    It is MTV so don't expect lot of indepth intellectual discussion, but still, It is difficult to be open and honest as saying the wrong thing can get you labeled as a 'racist' or a 'homophobe'.

    Of course you don't see anything wrong with it, because it's not a show called "black people" or "brown people" that puts a spotlight on all the problems/crimes that minorities bring to this country.

    I am really confused. I can't watch the video due to being at work, but going from this subject line

    This show seems less about what white people have done wrong, but more about how white people have a difficult time right now due to the constant blame heaped on them, the double standard that is apparent when a white person says something, and when a non-white person says the same thing.

    And yet those who I would think would champion this view, are lambasting this show. Is there something in the video that is not apparent in the text?

    MTV has plenty of shows about black and brown people. I don't view them as "problems" like you do.

    Most of their shows are a tad trashy, but a few are pretty decent. Turn it on sometime - you might actually learn something.

    If white folks want to self loath let em do it. Obviously it must bring some sort of insane gratification. Which is basically a mental problem. I would imagine the suicide rates are much higher with whites compared to those people who have a bit more color in their skin.

    That this isn't healthy pretty much fits in with the rest of American society. We are becoming a nation of politically correct mental cripples, and if that is what these people want to do, I will not try to stop them. Allow the nuts to be nutty is my motto. I treat our local village idiot in the same way.

    There's a show called "brown people"? There's no way that would fly in our PC police-state we live in now. The New Black Panther party would burn down MTV before allowing that.

    The violence of 'black' and 'brown' people, and their drag on the entitlement/welfare system already has a show, and it reaches a much bigger audience that has political power, is well funded for a long time in the future and has a long history of its own. It's called Fox news, among others.

    This is merely a temporary annoyance, and the audience are a bunch of kids that don't vote generally.
