I love a good Frito Chili Pie myself. Guilty Pleasure... In a nice baking pan: Layer a covering amount of Fritos so that I cannot see the bottom of said pan, Sprinkle enough shredded cheddar and jack to bind, Then I add one ~(around) equally thick layer of Hormel's canned chili sans-beans(Add beans if U like, I don't care.) Wash, rinse, repeat til your pan is near full, Top with a covering layer of the salsa of your choice, Moar Cheeze!!! And a random sprinkle of crunched up Fritos. Bake at ~350°F/176.667° til it smells good but before it's burnt.... Enjoy An Bonjour!

Separate, and enjoy.
Been cooking since I was about 21 and had no money and found I could cook as well if not better than eating out. First major dinner was Game Hen on a potato galette, braised tomatoes in butter and herbs, french onion soup, and a blueberry layered desert. Trying my hand at canning lately and just canned some beef stew which I was surprised to find out you stuff everything in the jars raw and they cook for 1 1/2 hours under pressure. Great way to have fresh stew throughout the year. I will be canning my garden this year for the first time.
Billions of them....maybe literally....anything in particular you are looking for? Some things are acquired tastes so "good" is subjective as I doubt most people would consider anything aspic "good" until they become accustomed to it for instance.

I am Puerto Rican and have eaten it all my life. Grew up with many Boricuas and all my pals during my youth agreed that my mom was the best Puerto Rican cook they ever knew in their lives. It is without a doubt the most under rated cuisine in the world.
Cool! I grew up on on a bit of Nicaraguan in New Orleans but I really looove variety!Q And I miss Julia, She was sweet.
I made my own sloppy joe sauce tonight. Wish I remembered what the hell I put in it. It was amazing. I was just chunking pieces and parts of jars of things in it and have no clue what all I used. I know I put in mustard and fresh garlic and olives I sliced up, but beyond that, if it was red and in the fridge in an open jar it went in. I do recall that one was part of a jar of cocktail sauce. I tossed the garbage while it was cooking and I am not fishing through that nasty trashcan to find the pieces to the puzzle. Maybe part of a jar of pizza sauce went in it too. I know there were the rest of a container of celery seeds and some green onions I dehydrated last year too. Ugh. I could be the next Paul Newman. Must go trash can diving.
But is Spice various enough to keep an interest? U Like cooking>?
I prefer fresh myself...
Two very nice posts. Yes, fresh is best. But I have to question whether buying fruits in such open markets is advisable as they are not entirely sanitary and attract flies. I give my fruits a good washing with cold water and eat at home to save some money and to eat well.
am just a bit busy at the moment so pardon me for not answering the phone .... https://www.facebook.com/BuzzFeedFood/videos/1254934534519770/ .... planning my next dessert as well
A little water with white vinegar and a little rinse are a touch better for cleaning. Besides, the lime juice mixed with honey cleans your insides very well.
I made a vegetarian spaghetti once. It was soooooo good. I put in zucchini, celery, fresh tomatoes, onions and mushrooms, and made my own sauce. I have never been able to replicate that batch. I didn't write down the proportions of the ingredients I used--like how many cups of each vegetable, how much salt and Italian seasoning I used, etc.. I don't know--maybe my celery wasn't as fresh as it was in the original recipe, or something that you would think is minor, but I have yet to make a batch as good as the original.
