Doing so, is a commercial for torture being normalized, and will be used on OUR troops.

Don't believe the Japanese soldiers in WW2 took all prisoner all who surrendered, many were shot when they surrendered. Many were tortured and there is plenty of eye witness testimony to back that up. Our troops valued humanity and did not torture, but we did shoot many who came forward with their hands raised. Waterboarding never was torture using the USA system. We did not use the Japanese system or other dreadful systems. We did not want harm to the terrorists. We did not want them to get into a coma. They only endured for half a minute. Divers can hold their breath up to 7 minutes I believe.

Democrats started bawling their eyes out over terrorists. Terrorists have it great compared to captured Americans.

 

Democrats to this very day never saw it as torture when our men had limbs blown off by hidden bombs.

But they sure think water tortures.

Actually, we had experts doing it. They gained a lot of expertise by doing it to our own navy seals.

When I served in the Army, I watched as our guys got tortured and that was during training.

 

While I agree that the use of torture is all-around wrong and only good for producing false confessions, I must ask how you think something can be treasonous without being treason, seeing as the word "treasonous" is simply an adjective which applies only to things which are treason. First of all, we are better than that. Torture is a tool of savages.

Second, we should be seeking the things about ourselves that make us different than zombified extremists willing to do horrific things to each other. Maintaining our humanity by choosing not to succumb to barbarity when faced with it, IS a breakwater against these people.
