One Chicago woman says she can't take racial unrest in the U.S. sitting down. Laurella Willis, a white mother of three, took to the streets of black neighborhoods in her city wearing a sign with a simple message: Black America, I'm Sorry.

Willis told reporters she's sorry for "everything that's going on in America," referring to the police shootings of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge, La., and Philando Castile in St. Paul, Minn., last week. The tension intensified after an African-American man fatally shot five Dallas police officers. He reportedly told officials he wanted to kill white people -- especially white officers.

Willis told WBBM, "I don't want to continue to see Black Americans being oppressed, and held down and killed like animals."

Willis is reportedly walking 20 miles per day in her quest to influence others in a positive way. She's garnered a positive response from the community, with one local radio host saying, "No one put her up to this and she woke up and decided White America there's a problem and we have to acknowledge it and do something about it."

As for what she hopes to achieve, Willis isn't sure. She just knows she wants "action."

Whites who cuck down to blacks like this are bascially traitors to their NATION. This country owes blacks nothing, blacks owe themselves. Blacks kill each other at a rate no cop could touch. It should be blacks like Al Sharpton, Obama, and other progressives who need to be apologing for race baiting their own race to the point of destruction.

The hilarious thing too is that these whites actually believe minorities will respect them for doing this. In reality, most minorities are very proud of their race, and identify strongly with it. They wouldn't dream of pulling a stunt like this, essentially prostrating themselves in front of another racial group, beginning for forgiveness. They are happy to see these whites telling them what they want to hear, of course, but they wouldn't respect someone like this. You can't respect someone you feel sorry for.

Why in the world would anyone apologize for something they didn't do? Her white guilt has got the best of her.

It's a trend in beta people. For example, feminists are usually surrounded by mild mannered beta males who think that being nice to them and defending feminism they will score a handy by one of these broads. Ironically, theses same feminists don't respect their beta male lap dogs.

In the same way, you have whites who have weak nature who think by trying to suck up to and win the approval of blacks, that somehow they will be welcomed. Humans respect strength, not cowardice.

Absolutely! She walks 20 miles a day to tell blacks she's 'sorry' for the racial problem here, that she's never been a part of. Stupid. She'd be better off staying home w/her 3 kids, teaching them about interrogation......walking 20 miles would eat up a lot of her day and I think she's doing this just to be noticed and name in print.

All movements start when one person decides that something needs to be done to end the current situation. The push to abolish slavery started when one person decided that it was wrong for slavery to exist. Various political movements were started when one person who saw the need for them. The woman's idea might gain traction and change the world. It could fade away. But she did get people to consider her idea and she wasn't afraid to express to walk the talk.

 

She's probably some wacko religious extremist.

 

She should have sent Ben Affleck instead. I heard his family used to be into that sort of thing. And he's a liberal; it's a win-win!

 

she has 3 kids, she is probably trying to make their town safer for them to grow up, cost her nothing to say she was sorry even though she did nothing wrong, and if she did do something wrong, still costs nothign to apologize, what would really make it great is if a black women walked with her tomorrow with a sign apologizing to white America
