I have seen the Statue of Liberty in 1964 from the Staten Island ferry, been there later but the lady was closed, never went to Seattle, went up inside the St. Louis arch. This was worth the visit. Got some very nice photos of the area. Twin towers were not built my first time to NY City and my last time there they had fallen. We have some awesome things to see in CA.

Those who want to know what it is like to go up the Arch, keep in mind you take an elevator. And it curves up a track since the Arch is curved. And you set in seats. 5 per trip. As you go up the Arch, you can see inside the arch a bit. At the top, there is plenty of room to look out windows and see what is on the ground.

Sounds cool. When I was a kid, I pictured a standing elevator ...and coming down the arch head first.

Don't ruin their day. It's all they have to live for. Sad, but true.

Image result for cost of st louis arch tickets
Each guest age 16 or older planning to enter the Gateway Arch will be required to pay a $3 National Park Service fee, which is included in the price of these tickets. A Journey to the Top ticket includes the tram ride to the top as well as the documentary film, Monument to the Dream (based on availability).

It's very strange to me to say you'd like to go see the Twin Towers. It's the 9/11 memorial.
What do you mean by the face?

...but don't you agree waving an apology sign to "all blacks" is way past its time. Time would be better spent rooting out the real cause of trouble...and accountable behavior by all.
    it will probably never happen.

I'm very sensitive about 9/11. I remember everything about that day. I'm 40 though.
My kids don't remember 9/11. The Twin Towers falling to them is like Pearl Harbor to me, I suppose.
My kids aren't moved to tears if they are shown 9/11 coverage. They have absolutely no idea how everyone watching that day felt...

In light of recent news stories, probably not.
But yes, getting to root cause would be beneficial. Most know what the root cause is and there is blame to be had on all sides.
At least she's not inciting more hatred, except among those who ridicule her.

Very true, you need to have that connection. Probably why we can shove off so easily the issues that don't effect us.

Haha..heck, they have never used a card catalogue or rotary phone.
Make no mistake...I am profoundly impressed by the younger generation. Their awareness of information and technological prowess is wild.
Would you elaborate on the connection you're referring to?

Basically stuff like mall ideas, an idea for a awesome type of farmers market like they have near Beverly Hills but put it in downtown Memphis utilizing one of the abandoned properties, and other things like a water park and other attractions. We have so many buildings not being used that we could make great entertainment, shopping and other amenities not only for jobs but the youth of this city is lacking anything outside of hitting a bowling alley.

Literally the only thing to do down here is go out to eat, drink and wait for the Memphis in May festivities(which are awesome btw) . But this city needs to make itself over because it has tons of potential. Turning the Pyramid into a Bass Pro Shop was a great start, but we need to do more.

Lol its a cool lil attraction, and then they have roof top parties at the Peabody and the ducks are up there.

I have been fortunate to have stayed in America at some fancy places. The inn of VA in Falls Church ls not fancy. But it has decent sized rooms. It is very well kept. And it is close to DC. I don't know prices right now.

Haven't pitched them to anybody other than in conversation with acquaintances. Just ideas at this point. but as far as getting an audience like I said you have to be in the the good old boy democrat crowd and make sure your main power point is how much money you are going to line the politicians pockets with.

Let me give you a small example of what I am talking about. Memphis not long ago was being used for a bunch of tv shows and even some movies that were, and were going to be shot here. Everything was going pretty good, but the politicians ruined it because they wanted to charge way more money than what this location was worth.......In short because of their personal greed nobody wants to shoot here.

So unless it's an idea to gain the politicans money personally, you wont get a audience.
