The Dems will regain control of the Senate in 2018 and I would not be in the least surprised if the GOP House hasn't already impeached Trump and replaced him with Pence by then. It will largely depend on how much control they can exercise over him. If they can't he will provide them with more than enough in the way of high crimes to impeach him.

The Sanders crowd was too moronic to vote for someone with similar policy positions, so they stayed home! People in the rust belt actually are that nostalgic!
