That was 'then', and nobody has more awareness of, and gratitude for your contribution than me. But this is now, and your country has changed beyond all recognition to become dangerous. Don't shoot the messenger for pointing it out,

What I said amounts to something you've never had to sort out before. Ironically enough, you actually need 'regime change'?

Meh...The US is pretty much ruled by the same special interest groups, regardless of the tag they carry! While Trump is a pig and not really part of the establishment as such, even he is merely riding the sentiments that the establishment has sowed. Otherwise, though, American foreign policy is charted these days by an alliance between the military industrial complex and AIPAC. And while the Republican party establishment is more closely aligned to them, much of the Democratic party establishment (the establishment the Bernie Sanders wing wanted to revolt against) is as beholden to them as the Republicans. Certainly, that includes Hillary Clinton.

Yes I can which is why I crticised him in the first place.
    Hersh is most likely lying
I have spent quite a bit of time in that part of the world so I think that you should be directing that statement to yourself

    Iranian Monitor? No he doesn't.
Wow hypocisy alert. I mean you assume that my world views are warped by some propaganda machine based on little to nothing and that I'm "too lazy to think". This is despite the fact that I have questioned a popular source.
Another statement that deserves to be directed to yourself although I wouldn't ask if you were paid because I know its not necessary to do so.

First, what does your question have to do with what I wrote? Second, it is no secret that the having leverage over both the Strait of Hormuz as well as the shipping lanes heading to the Suez Canal from the Red Sea, has its geopolitical advantages for a country that rightly sees itself threatened by the special interest groups running US foreign policy. Finally, whatever Iran wants, Iran is able only to get as far as the majority of the people in the areas Iran is focused on are willing to cooperate with it. Unlike some other countries, Iran simply doesn't have the resources to either act as an oppressive occupier or one that is able to prop up any genuinely unpopular regimes.

Let's get this straight and clear.

Iran has absolutely ZERO LEVERAGE when it comes to the Strait of Hormuz.

    ZERO!!!

You see in order for a nation to both HAVE as well as LABEL something as LEVERAGE.....that nation actually has to have the ability to carry out that action without the result being their TOTAL OBLITERATION!!!

When Russia invaded the Crimea and was contemplating annexing not only the Crimea but an entire other swath of the Ukraine from the Crimea all the way along the Black Sea shoreline to Russia so that the Crimea would be physically connected to Russia......well......the United States used LEVERAGE in the form of drastically increasing U.S. Oil Production thus flooding the worlds oil supply and market with oil thus causing the price to fall so low that Putin realized that if he decided to actually annex that swath of the Ukraine the United States would continue to flood the worlds oil market thus causing the Russian Economy which is heavily dependent upon oil profits to collapse.

The U.S did this...used LEVERAGE.....and Russia did NOT annex any more of the Ukraine.

But in Iran's case if Iran attempted to block shipping through the strait of Hormuz effectively cutting off oil flow to the world......the result would be the United States obliterating the Iranian Naval or Military Force blocking shipping and if Iran retaliated then the U.S. would obliterate the Iranian Military.

THUS.....IRAN HAS ZERO LEVERAGE as far as the Strait of Hormuz.

    ZERO!!

Al Queda and the U.S. - Together Again

    .............................................................................................

Now that al Queda has rebranded itself ' ISIS ' , with John McCain having visited the heads of the malicious terrorists twice a year apart, being photog'd once, smiling and palsy-walsy, - we now see the sections of the dumbed -down, defunct, ineffectual, msm radio tv broadcasting rebranded as 'alternative,' 'free speech,' and 'independant' even though such radio as DEMOCRACY NOW 'the war and peace' (b.s. report) is complicit in Geneva convention violations, thereby making them accomplices in the Syrian mass murder by the same CFR globalists who finance the 'democracy ' radio, and are the same Global Elites attending the most recent Billderberg meetings planning Syrias demise. Thus, you need look no further than 'alternative' radio fake 'democratic' Amy displayed her laughable yet dispicable Syria segment this morning was so full of Washington propaganda that she is now firmly embedded with the lies of the U.S. State and their agenda of wanton terrorist al Queda killings of innocent Syrians, the helpless civillians murdered by U.S. imperialism Globalist quest for oil, defense money ,power, driven by scurrilous greed that makes 'democracy' Amy herself a collaborator, aiding and abetting, and is herself violating the Geneva conventions as well, by spreading false dogma to instigate by lying about Americans war on innocent sovereign foreign govmnts.

Hillary - MORE, MORE, AND EVEN MORE WAR -

Did ANY moderator bring up the latest Obama

A recent report on CBS News over night reported the latest high tech Pentagon Destroyer Naval Warship ready to be deployed with all the bells and whistles costed a whopping FOUR BILLION DOLLARS.

Hillary and Bill Clinton: The «Bonnie and Clyde» of American Politics

    Wayne MADSEN | 03.11.2016 | WORLD

'The many Clinton scandals also involve the illegal shipment of U.S.- and foreign-manufactured weapons to jihadist rebels in Libya and Syria against U.S. law. When Clinton and Abedin oversaw the jihadist rebellions in both countries, the U.S. was subject to imposing a United Nations arms embargo directed against both civil war theaters. The sudden decision on October 5, 2016, by the Justice Department to drop all charges against the State Department-licensed Turi Defense Group of Arizona and its owner, Marc Turi, for violating U.S. law by shipping unregistered weapons to Libyan rebels, some of which were transferred to Syrian rebels by the CIA station in Benghazi, indicates that Attorney General Loretta Lynch wanted the Turi case to disappear before the November 8th election.'

    (edit)

'Turi claims that approval for the secret weapons shipments to Libya and onward to Syria were personally approved by Mrs. Clinton and had a green light from the CIA. Any new email or other evidence that Mrs. Clinton authorized illegal weapons shipments to jihadist terrorists would have required the FBI to broaden its investigation of both Hillary and Bill Clinton, as well as Lynch. Mrs. Clinton may have violated federal law by permitting the shipment of weapons to belligerent parties in Libya and Syria; Mr. Clinton may have obstructed justice in talking to the Attorney General; and Lynch may have violated her oath of office in misusing her position as the nation’s chief law enforcement officer in furtherance of a criminal conspiracy to obstruct justice.'

'The Clinton scandal, in many ways, resembles the Iran-Contra episode more than it does Watergate. In Watergate, the cover-up by Nixon and his cronies, in many respects, was worse than the original crimes. In Iran-Contra, the arms and drugs smuggling crimes were equal to the cover-up, including the criminal role of then-Vice President George H. W. Bush in the entire affair. With the Clintons’ «E-mailgate», shipping U.S. weapons to terrorists and accepting foreign campaign donations from dodgy regimes in Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and Qatar are every bit as bad as the obvious ensuing cover-up by Hillary Clinton and her and her husband's cronies.'

    Democracy Now?

    by Richard Hugus

    October 3, 2016

"Two guests appear on the September 29 program, both introduced as grassroots Syrian human rights activists. The first, Osama Nasser, seems to be stumbling over a script he was given to read while Amy Goodman struggles not to look annoyed. Nasser says that Aleppo is being attacked by Russia and Syrian regime forces and that the US is doing nothing to help, as if the US were not already there in any other capacity. For instance, he does not mention the ongoing occupation of Aleppo by US forces cloned from al-Qaeda, and the Democracy Now hosts do nothing to raise this obvious point. Al-Qaeda foreign mercenaries are supposed to be the arch-enemy of the US, so mentioning them would only confuse people. Thanks to other news sources, we know that the Syrian army and Russia are fighting to force al-Qaeda out of Aleppo."

    (edit)

"In his commentary, Munif says that the Syrian government has used the media “to create a parallel reality” – a phrase taken from whoever creates buzzwords for John Kerry, who said in the same week that Russian-Syrian assertions of the US responsibility for sabotaging a ceasefire made him feel like he was living in “a parallel world.” The world that most other people live in could see that the US was clearly guilty of sabotage."

"The propaganda we are seeing in the world today relies on a full 180º overturning of reality. The horrendous crimes being committed by the US, Israel, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and others in Syria, as they are carried out, are immediately blamed on the victim of those crimes – the people of Syria — and on Russia, the one nation which has stood up in Syria’s defense. Democracy Now is doing its part in this subterfuge by making sure that liberals and leftists who follow the show are properly misled."

Anyone with a modicum of common sense would understand that if Russia can't prevail in this war, Islamic State undoubtedly will. So don't crow about it too much otherwise lots of chickens will be coming home to roost, and you'll be begging Putin to come and help you.

Every single member of Qud's Force is a religious fanatic SOCIOPATH!!

They are not even worth the cost of the bullets to kill them and I think we should take a page out of the Chinese Governments book and send the body back to the family of any member of Qud's force along with a BILL FOR THE BULLETS!!

I am not a man that tends to HATE anyone but in this case I make an exception!!!

Trump is going to give all those nations we have been allowing unfettered access to our market a real shock!

    LOL!!

He is going to tear up our current trade agreements as we will no longer allow other nations access to our market unfettered if they do not allow the same access to theirs.

The Chinese Communist Party is FREAKING OUT right now!!
