My hope is Trump and Putin can come to an agreement so that both U.S. and Russian Forces will target the ISIS and wipe them out.

The targeting of FSA Rebels will NOT be on the table and Russia does not have the military capability to wipe out the ISIS as Russia's methods are archaic if best.

However if both the U.S. and Russia work together we should be able to wipe out the ISIS.

Assad will have to go and Putin most likely will offer Assad sanctuary in Russia.

Well Putin has been very receptive to a new start with relations with the U.S. and so has Trump.

I have found it idiotic that relations have degraded so badly between the U.S. and Russia and this has mostly been Putin's fault.

But the fact is Russia really needs us as their economy is in a state of free fall.

If Trump does what he say's and spends a Trillion Plus Dollars rebuilding roads and bridges and infrastructure in the United States and this will generate millions of new good jobs....the U.S. Economy should skyrocket and we are all hopeful of this but Russia's economy which is TINY in comparison to the United States really needs help to avoid collapse.

We can help but we are going to want a few things.

Assad's head on a platter is one of them.

You know I find it funny that the Iranian's who support Assad as he is a Shia Alawhite are always complaining that the U.S. should stay away from imposing democracy...at least TRUE DEMOCRACY upon Syria yet they still complain about the U.S. backing the Shah.

Now the Shah and Assad have a LOT IN COMMON!!

Neither of them was fairly elected to office...both are/were dictators....so I guess as far as the Iranian's are concerned it;s OK to be a dictator as long as you are a Shi'ite!!

Russian General: Why Assad can't win the war in Syria
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In a sense he's already winning because he's apparently happy and lives in a nice house and has 3 square meals a day regardless of what's going in the country..:)
Here he is posing for selfies with his dishy wife in a christian church in Syria-

I've just read in another thread that the USA has nothing to do with the Syrian civil war.
The point which looks quite ridiculous for me.

    Just a small reminder:

Why Putin's fault? Did Putin impose sanctions or Magnitsky law?

In tatters, to be precise! In tatters!

Understand that Putin and 110 of his buddies own or have stolen over 35% of all Russian Wealth and what Putin has been doing is a series of geopolitical and military moves to whip the Russian population into a PANIC in order to keep the Russian people's eye's OFF his theft of Russian wealth and ON the possibility that the U.S. and Russia might go to war which has a ZERO CHANCE OF HAPPENING!!!

In the meanwhile the Russian Economy is a F@#KING DISASTER and as you said in TATTERS and as I said in a state of ECONOMIC FREE FALL!!

Poor Hillary and Obama, they goofed bigtime long ago by calling Assad a "tyrant" and arming rebel anti-Assad groups, but he's had the last laugh because he turned to his old chum Putin for protection, no doubt in return for a cut of the oil when things blow over, no wonder Hillary went into "hell hath no fury " mode..;)

Well they should have handled Putin in a much different way but Assad is a tyrant and he has to go but AFTER we use him!!

As far as Putin....well we got his number we just need a guy like Trump to sit down with Putin and tell Putin to KNOCK THE S#!T OFF!!

    WE hold all the cards!!

Actually, there is no any panic here. And tatters is an Obama's word. Syrian war in Russian media holds maybe 2nd or 3rd place. Yesterday federal minister was arrested on bribery suspicion, that was the main news. Russian economy is in free fall? Sorry, but... no.
