I don't think Hillary would have been the same as Obama but the thing s Trump was right as she has been doing this for over 30 years and WHAT has she accomplished!!??

The United States needs to completely rebuild it's infrastructure and we are talking about a project that is so massive the amount of jobs it will create will be staggering.

It will help drive the economy and instead of wasting money the money spent will go back into our country!!

Plus we are DONE giving other nations a free ride!!

Wish we were - god knows how much of our so-called overseas aid ends up in private Swiss bank accounts.

Syria will remain under Assad's control now that America will no longer back the very terrorists who wish us dead.

The problem has been we have purposely allowed many nations like China...etc....access to the U.S. Market in order to allow their economies to thrive as when a Communist Nations economy thrives their people get wealthier and smarter and educated and thus they will eventually push for democracy.

But the time for FAIR TRADE is at hand!!

And we are DONE protecting everyone without them paying their fair share as well!!

Right now all the NATO nations are kissing our ass because they KNOW without us they are SCREWED!!

Now we'll see how much of their sabre-rattling braggadocio on Russia's doorstep was in the belief the US was on-side; well it won't be now - Donald will see to that - and I confidently predict they'll announce 'a completion of their military exercises' and slink off back home tout de suite. Bloody fool bureaucrats that they are!

Understand the U.S. will still do it's best to protect any nation Putin might have his eye's on.

The only difference is from now on we are NOT going to put up with nations giving us S#!# while at the same time they are getting protected by us for FREE!!

Now they will have to pay their share!!

You keep on suggesting that Putin has expansionist, or has an aggressive intent - what is it that makes you believe it? I have to say that I've never noticed anything untoward. I say again - until the NATO mischief we scarcely heard anything about Russia.

Well your new President doesn't think it's any big deal. Neither do I as a matter of fact. I suggest Putin knows how to handle 'little local difficulties' in his own backyard better than you do? And the reason for that is that you're gullible enough to believe everything you're told by the other side, as you did with the Talibs.

... and Russia, Iran, Cuba, Lebanon, Israel, Iraq, Turkey ...

Don't take out only these nations you attack usually, take all who are involved!

Assad will never recapture all of Syria. He hasn't even been able to fully take Aleppo in over 5 years.

Trump is right in deciding to talk with Russia as this is something we should do as we do have common interests and as I have told you I have been there many times and have many Russian friends however.....WE CANNOT JUST ALLOW PUTIN TO ANNEX NATIONS!!!

I have enough confidence in Pres. Putin to believe he knows what's best in his bailiwick. Just stay out of things you don't understand; haven't you learnt that by now from the Iraq and Afghanistan fiascos? Jesus what does it take??!! :wall:

First of all asking ME to stay out of things is really stupid as I am not the one who decides where we are going or what we are doing.

Secondly although I was against the war in Iraq we absolutely NEEDED TO GO INTO AFGHANISTAN and we did the right thing going in.

As I have told you the only wrong thing we did was to go NATION BUILDING as that was NEVER the plan!!

Our original missions were a TOTAL AND COMPLETE SUCCESS AND YES.....those of us who KNOW what we are doing did what was necessary and this went off without a hitch!!

The ONLY problems that occurred was when POLITICIANS got involved!!

So if you want to tell THEM what you have stated go ahead but telling me is idiotic BECAUSE I HAVE ALWAYS KNOWN WHAT WE HAD TO DO AND I UNDERSTAND THE ISSUES!!

    Others do not!!

Well my point is you should NOT make this personal!!

I have no control over where they want me and besides I am retired.

    Sort of.

But NYT explains further - for people who are probably considered stupid by NYT:

I wonder - are there still people who believe in such "two wars" bullcrap?

Syrian Army gives jihadists 24 hours to surrender before launching massive offensive in Aleppo

DAMASCUS, SYRIA (1:40 A.M.) - The Syrian Arab Army has given the jihadist rebels 24 hours to surrender themselves to the nearest government checkpoint.

Using a loud speaker, a Syrian Arab Army officer demanded that the jihadist rebels surrender in the next 24 hours or else they will face severe consequences.

What are these consequences? The Syrian Army officer stated over the loud speaker that their forces will launch a massive military operation following the 24 hour deadline.

The Syrian Armed Forces have already recaptured several sites inside the western part of the city; however, they have mostly halted operations in the eastern districts of Aleppo.

Furthermore, Hezbollah is preparing a large operation in the southern countryside of Aleppo that will target the key town of Khan Touman.

Most military personnel assume that the jihadist rebels will not surrender, so the Syrian Arab Army is currently on high alert during these next 24 hours.
