But why are you fearing this in the US? There is zero chance of sharia law there. There are hardly any Islamic terrorist attacks. Then there is the constant lie about Gonzalo Curiel claiming he is not Mexican. While that may be true, Curiel supports La Raza. I daresay that if a white power judge was presiding over any Democrat case the MSM outrage would be shrill and hysterical.

Couldn't open your link. Keep in mind Asia is inhabited by ASIANS. Japan, China, Myanmar, Laos, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia. The Indian subcontinent is inhabited by CAUCASIANS. Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis etc are not Asians, they're Caucasians - just like Europeans.

No, they're really not. I see FAR more discomfort with racial difference from the Chinese, just for starters. In my considerable experience of racism, white people are the least racist on the planet.

I believe his point is 'why add to the problems (see above) we already have by inviting in more'. If you think it's okay to add more weight to the already terrible burden of school shootings, then you probably aren't fearful enough.

I'm sorry, but I can't agree. I have lived in muslim countries (also under sh'aria law), and I'm the first person to defend the ordinary people as no more dangerous than your next door neighbour. The problem lies not necessarily with them as people, but with an ideology that compels them to choose their own, then wilfully creates scenarios where that choice must be made.

The sweetest and kindest Muslim will ALWAYS choose Allah if it goes to the wire. That's the difference between theirs and all other faiths. While other faiths will threaten hellfire from the god (after you die) for apostasy, theirs is the only one in which adherents themselves will kill you for apostasy. That changes everything, and makes ordinary people extraordinarily dangerous. They want to live as much as you do, you see.

There is nothing more terrifying (to me) than to see Progressives with zero experience of Muslim thought or life, acting on their 'cause'. Not accusing you of being a Prog, but I do see a disturbing amount of naivety involved in this unthinking defence of something which requires vastly more careful consideration and experience than most westerners give or have.

Once again, I'm a person who has lived that life. I've prayed in Mosques, talked with Imams and other pious believers, worn hijab on and off for years, had muslim friends, neighbours, etc. I don't walk around in fear of ordinary muslims, at ALL. But I do understand fully that there is a tipping point resting inside the most innocent of Muslim breasts .. and it's predicated on their will to survive. They are not 'evil', they are simply afraid. They had the great misfortune to be born into a faith which does not tolerate dissent.

 

I work with Muslims. I'm friends with Muslims. They've made no such comments. They all know I'm an atheist. The people who do have a problem with me being atheist turn out to be Christians.

For all the talk of infidels, the book sometimes speaks gently and sometimes militantly about them, depending on interpretation of their behavior toward Islam... there is no grey area with atheists. You are to convert or die. They are not your friends, or they are not Muslims. Islam is submission to the will of Allah. The end.

 

Christians don't take the bible 100% seriously and the same can be said about the Koran and Muslims.

 

Then they aren't Muslims. You simply do not understand the ideology. There is no half measure. The only grey area concerns interpretation, eg "offense against Islam". It IS SUBMISSION.
