Why do lefties on this forum think at anyone has a RIGHT to come to the US

I seem to pick up on the fact that leftwingers seem to think that anyone has a Right to come to the US, and we HAVE to accept them.

Please show me where this is written down and what law in the Constitution says this. As I have pointed out before we have millions unemployeed, and are 20 TRILLION DOLLAR in debt. IMO it is not logical to be bringing more people into this country that have no money or a job. So yes-----------tell me why we should actually be letting anyone more in the country, until at least we get a handle on the problems we now have.

Liberals generally hate America and blame America for everything wrong on Earth. From Slavery to the Crusades. Allowing anyone to come in and out unchecked is a recipe for disaster and they know it. They are trying to tear America down and fundamentally transform it into a global socialist police state... or Utopia.

 

Instead of personal attacks, why not answer the question.

You're asking everyone to answer your own straw man question. Coming to the US is not a right, the argument for more immigration has more to do with economics

Given certain provisions of the Constitution are outdated, and need to be updated/revised, or simply removed, I don't think one could show you an immigrants right before the Constitution is properly revised to meet 21st Century standards.

You know, your ancestors who came here to America most likely had no money or a job. Would you exercise the same sentiment towards them?

 

Most lefties are fine with mass immigration and refugees etc. And many lefties are SUPER fine with it. The problem is, those who think this are invariably the most insulated from the reality of life amongst the 'poor brown folk'. In other words the most clueless and Pollyanna. It's all just gratifyingly exotic to them, but not reality. It hits them in the pleasure centres (those tickly spots they call 'compassion'), and that's what matters.

 

Your verbal diatribe does not apply to me ... since I wouldn't want you in my country - I guess I wouldn't think you had a RIGHT to come here. Stay in your Kremlin basement, please.

From the tone of your post, have no fear I would want to come there. Let me know which one it is so I can be sure and cross it off my list. Since I am retired, I travel quite a bit.

Since it is true that there is no RIGHT to come to this country, it is quite apparent that all the fool rioters marching in the streets are just plain stupid and wasting their time.

Trump is not discriminating with his ban.

 

banning seven nations, is discrimination based on nationality.

No the ban is consistant with possible danger to the US. That is why Trump issued it.

 

No, it has a clear precedent. Banning because of religion would be discriminatory, banning for region or nation has been done many times.

Liberals don't want the truth and don't care for history. America has a heritage of discriminating against other groups based on national origin but leftists don't care. Keep living in your fantasy bubble.
