The media is blowing this way out of proportion. Why is it they never brought this up when a larger number of Patriots skipped going to the Obama White House? It makes me SICK to see Politics being slammed into sports!! AA
it's time to talk trade I say to coach Bill, go ahead and trade Garofalo, I've never cared for her scthick
Looks like Amendola is willing to take a pay cut. We'd have to pay him a ton to keep him so I was sure Coach was going to release him. However, if he's willing to take a big cut, we'd be keeping a clutch player.
I CANNOT STAND THIS WOMAN!!! She is not funny and all she does is slam her political ideology over peoples heads people who just came to laugh not to get preached at!! AA - - - Updated - - - He already made his big money and now he just wants to win!! AA
It is not up to we the fans to determine "how much is too much" with respect to pay. A player needs to weigh compensation with comfort or quality-of-life. Prior to my own business, I had turned down several positions with more pay because the companies were just not a match for me, were too big or other reasons. Once you meet your financial needs, other factors begin to carry weight and that might be where Amendola is. - - - Updated - - - Sorry, I couldn't resist. I always confuse her name with Garoppolo
Wrong. It's up to the coach how much Amendola makes. If he wants a crap ton of money to support some fruity lifestyle, Coach will cut him in a heart beat.
it's not up to we the fans. If Amendola determines that staying in NE has value then the numbers will work out. If he decides that dollars are of more value then he'll go shopping. It is a personal decision and no, the coach doesn't make it.
Are you aware that Coach cut our most valued asset mid season this year on Defense because he asked for more money? Sorry didn't cut him, traded him to Cleveland mid-season
it was a personal decision, stay for the offered salary or move on. I don't care if the offer is $1, the player can choose to stay.
Now we're getting close to splitting hairs. The point is that Coach doesn't put up with anyone that thinks they deserve more money. Get what you're offered or he'll cut you mid season.
I am pretty certain that Amendola who has been often injured as well has been EXTREMELY well paid is more than happy to take a salary cut to stay on the Team. A lot of players who have played in the league for many years and made the money get to a point that they just want to win and after you play somewhere else and then play for the Patriots players have said what a HUGE difference it is. AA
Never know. These small receivers Brady makes into "star" receivers, are historically not very thankful. Remember the giant pay cut Brady took to keep Welker but Welker was too good for it? Brady still has that pay cut.
We don't get much Patriots news here in sunny, warm and beautiful parts of the country. Didn't Brady do some payroll gyrations because he had to pay some % of his salary as a fine? If that is true, good for him and F U Roger. - - - Updated - - - Oh, so what is the catch-phrase marketing term for numbr 6?
Brady had a restructure clause in 2015 (? I think it was that year) so he was lifted anyway. Still 7.5% lower than the original deal even though he's making more money. Compare it to Drew Brees and it makes sense. Blitz for 6!
Pat's fans rejoice, authorities have found Tom Brady's SB jersey in a foreign country and will return it to Brady.. Details later.
I heard something about it briefly when I was getting ready for work, but I didn't catch the whole story.
http://www.theblaze.com/news/2017/0...ting-trump-than-obama-then-the-truth-emerges/ Nice try. You should have read your facts first. See the guys sitting down in the front, those are players. They decided to not have the team go all the way up the stairs. I've linked you the full picture. Having trouble saving it to my computer but the article has all the pictures. Man you failed on that one
You must feel REALLY embarrassed as here's the full team photo. With players and coaching staff, just like every other year. #Fail
