Currently working a 24 hour front desk shift. For those of you in the Army, yes, I'm pulling CQ. I've been able to get out of it the past few months because I've been assigned to the S2 as his "assistant" (really I'm his bitch).

In less than 7 hours I'm going to go home, get my jeans on, go to the pub next to my apartment, and drink lots of beer.

I have nothing to contribute to this conversation so I decided to talk about my day.

BTW, if we have anyone in their 20s here, the enlistment window is pushing major bonuses again! Might wanna check that out.

We were going to go camping this week, but the little one has 2 high school baseball games this week. We are doing the staycation thing. Tonight, we are going to see "Let It Be", a Beatles tribute band tonight at Fair Park Music Hall.

 

Well.....we got a lot of snow on the ground. So all I got planned is to show up for work tonight. Plus the temp is going drop down to 15. Brrrr. Its bad enough I have to go out into the stuff just to get to work.

Did I mention I hate winter? Oh and when its my time.....I plan on stopping in to have a few words with that Old Man.

 

'Afternoon, y'all. Had a doc appt yesterday and got diagnosed with achilles tendinitis. So here's my fashion statement for the next 4 weeks. Lovely, eh?

 

At least I got my toes done.

 

Aren't those suppose to be painted, and ya better goes back to that Doc and get your little toe back.

 

So glad I didnt go for red toes this time. Neither that nor fishnet stockings go with this frankenboot.

 

I am spending the day doing business taxes....well I am spending the day at PF avoiding doing business taxes. As long as I send them by midnight, I'm good

Have had tendinitis and it isn't fun, very painful..I feel for you.

 

Thx, gf. Took the day off to get used to this thing. Wore it 6 hrs. Tomorrow I'll be hobbling back to work. Im sure I'll get used to it, for now its awful.

 

Wow double whammy, you have to wear that and have the pain too, can't get more torturous than that.

More Than Food


Ah stick it where the sun don't shine.It's great for lazy folk who
don't know or care to know how to prepare Dinner.I think it's
the height of slovenliness.Imagine grown adults not knowing
how to feed themselves.Ya can't live w/o Food. Like DuH !.
Start skipping meals as a senior and you get sick.
Eat nothing but Fast Food as a Senior and you are Gar-Own-Teed
to have problems.This is not Rocket science.Just good old-fashioned
common sense.Even Gypsies are Hip to the nature and importance of Food.
Look at Christie Brinkley.She looks easily half her age.Like in her 20's.
Due almost exclusively her lifestyle.Very concerned about her diet and
what she eats.NO Junk Food whatsoever.No meat { a vegan }.
She exercises and gets plenty of fresh air.No Smoking or guzzling
Beer.Or Drugs.I bet her poop smells like old flowers.Not like spoiled
Kimchi.
I'm reminded of the really Zany Movie { cannot get a copy }
starring Anthony Hopkins as Dr.Kellogg :
