This is absurd nonsense. Most Israeli's do not even share your opinion - never mind the rest of the the world.

Jews are not suicidal, of course they want peace and happiness. You wanna find someone who's looking for war, look at Arabs - they always kill each other, only pause when Jew is in the vacinity.

Methinks you misunderstood my post. The Jews do want peace and happiness. Large numbers of Israeli's however do not think their current neocon Gov't does :)

It was for the Ottoman Empire census. Yes, there is NO reason to believe it was inaccurate. Any schoolboy can find the names of the 300 Arab villages destroyed by the Zionists in under 2 minutes.

Hiding wont help you, its hypocracy to deny one UN vote and accept all others that benefit you.

Who on earth would take seriously an accusation of 'hypocracy' [sic] from a United-Nations condemned Israeli ? :)

“Winston Churchill said in a speech in Parliament in 1939 responding to efforts to withdraw British support for a Jewish state. Describing “the magnificent work which the Jewish colonists have done,” he said: “They have made the desert bloom… started a score of thriving industries… founded a great city on the barren shore… harnessed the Jordan and spread its electricity throughout the land… So far from being persecuted, the Arabs have crowded into the country and multiplied till their population has increased more than even all world Jewry could lift up the Jewish population. Now we are asked to decree that all this is to stop and all this is to come to an end. We are now asked to submit — and this is what rankles most with me — to an agitation which is fed with foreign money and ceaselessly inflamed by Nazi and by Fascist propaganda.”

Well... nothing has changed in 80 years. Israel is still an envy of the world, much to the chagrin of all antisemites :)

To me the Jordan River is no much more than a large lazy creek, but I did find this.

Naharayim (Hebrew: נהריים‎ literally "Two rivers") or Baqoura (Arabic: الباقورة‎‎) is a site on the border between Israel and Jordan where the Yarmouk River flows into the Jordan River. A hydroelectric power-plant had operated at Naharayim from 1932.[1] The plant, established by Pinhas Rutenberg, produced much of the energy consumed in Mandatory Palestine until the 1948 Palestine war. The canals and dams built for the power-plant created a man-made island.

This is what you've said, Margot: "I never saw any electrical plants near the Jordan river".

Curios to know, how could you see them in 1930's... :)

Not that I'm in disagreement, but how many other countries do you think should be removed based on similar criteria? Might be easier to list who would be left.

Presumably a power plant lasts more than 25-30 years.

Indeed. So then it follows, you' seen no electric power plants in Jordan Valley in the 50's and 60's... strange... :)

I didn't, but I do remember electricity being fairly unstable in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in the 1960s.
