NOTE: I will respond with the same intellect and respect as any poster. I'd love to be challenged on policy, as I've never come close to losing a substantive debate with a conservative.

Funny and expected. What I don't expect is a conservative willing to challenge me on substance.

LOL, I mean they created their right wing media bubble for a reason. Cults are all the same.

Do you support immigrating dangerous radical islamists into the united states?
Do you support Trump's travel ban?

    Here's your chance at "substance"..

Pick a subject sport. Tell me why the right wing position is correct. If you can't, then head back to Brietbart.

LOL, well obviously your question is an insane red herring. Obviously no one supports "immigrating dangerous radical islamists into the United States"

Be forewarned, the right wing talking points you are used to hearing will be exposed as bull$hit here.

Ok as a liberal I assume you condone abortion. How can you when at conception the baby now has its own set of chromosomes that is totally different than anyone elses, including it mother. Simply put abortion is murder.

Trump himself said that it isn't a "ban". Why do you insist that it is?
LOL at the first question. Only an idiot would support such a thing.

    Here are some questions.

    1. Do you get paid to troll by the line, post or thread? or is it a mix? How did you get into paid trolling, Craig's List?
    2. Do you troll other forums, or just this one? If others, which ones?
    3. What percentage of your posts contain actual policy arguments or reasoned opinions, such as "I believe we should do XYZ because JKL," greater or less than 10%? Remember, we can all read your posts so don't lie. If that percentage is below 10%, why do you make so many garbage posts here?
    4. Do you work for a Mediamatters division (CTR or Shareblue), another lobby, or a union or other labor-related newsletter? (there is no "none of the above" option)
    5. Are you related to an administrator or mod? The reason I ask is that if I trolled as much as you do, I'd be gone in a flash, yet you have been around a few weeks at least. When you are eventually banned for trolling, will you set up another account in a few weeks and come back? Did you do this in the past? Who were you before?
    6. Are you a troll-puppet account of another LW poster here? If so who?

    Thanks :)

How do you feel about democrats abandoning the working class and then calling them racist for having a different opinion that comes out of the neurotic left?

    A very fair question.

Some background. I was raised in an old school, Catholic/Italian home in a suburb of Philly - I went to Catholic school for 12 years, was an alter boy, the works. I am personally against abortion. However, I do not think the government has a right to tell anyone, male or female, what they can do with their own bodies. I think the solution is educating our children about sex and providing free and accessible birth control.

Democrats never abandoned the working class, but they did become too focused on social issues and forget to preach the working class values that define them. This was an enormous contributing factor to Trump's win.

Democrats abandoned them. It's not up for debate. Why do you think the Rust Belt went red, when previously reliably blue? They couldn't appeal to working class voters after a year and a half campaign? It was more of a strategic error, trying to villainize the working class as racists. Which is exactly what the left did.

It doesn't take a genius to see why the election turned out way it did

You guys made zero pitches to the working class the whole campaign. Blue collar, union left your party in droves... Care to explain?

We can at least try and be honest:

The Future of the Obama Coalition
    By Thomas B. Edsall November 27, 2011 11:34 pm November 27, 2011 11:34 pm
For decades, Democrats have suffered continuous and increasingly severe losses among white voters. But preparations by Democratic operatives for the 2012 election make it clear for the first time that the party will explicitly abandon the white working class.

All pretense of trying to win a majority of the white working class has been effectively jettisoned in favor of cementing a center-left coalition made up, on the one hand, of voters who have gotten ahead on the basis of educational attainment — professors, artists, designers, editors, human resources managers, lawyers, librarians, social workers, teachers and therapists — and a second, substantial constituency of lower-income voters who are disproportionately African-American and Hispanic.

The travel ban makes zero sense, it's always been nothing but a political policy, and every credible expert in our national security apparatus agrees.

Here's the thing. America has taken in hundreds of thousands of refugees for decades now. Number of them who turned terrorist?

    ZERO

Why? Because refugees who are admitted into the United States have to undergo extraordinary background checks and examination. These days it's 2 years worth of background checks from nearly a dozen intelligence agencies from the global community.

You know who doesn't have to go through this? Home grown American terrorists.

This is why every single national security expert will tell you they don't fear "refugees" at all, it's the homegrown terrorists they fear.

It makes sense if you think about it honestly for a moment. Refugees go through years of background checks before they are admitted. But American citizens obviously come under no such scrutiny. They can be sitting home and become radicalized online without anyone ever knowing.

All that aside, there's also a whole other point about how a "travel band" only gives our enemies a recruitment banner to waive, and how we NEED to work with Muslim Nations to uproot and defeat the extremists.
