Stephen Colbert’s Shocking Attack On Trump Concludes With A Homophobic Slur​

Once the clock struck midnight on Donald Trump’s 100 days in office, Stephen Colbert’s claws came out. He delivered his most vicious attack on the President to date during the monologue of Monday night’s The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, using language many were shocked to hear come out of the late night host’s mouth — including a derogatory slur many consider to be homophobic.
Colbert’s 12 minute monologue (!) began by addressing Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania over the weekend and and the handful of interviews he granted, singling in on his interaction with Face The Nation host John Dickerson. Trump wasn’t so quick to offer up answers to many questions, including one about his taxes, and told Dickerson he refers to the Sunday morning news program as “Deface The Nation.” To this, Colbert offered, “Donald Trump, John Dickerson is a fair-minded journalist and one of the most competent people who will ever walk into your office, and you treat him like that?” Colbert also stood up for his CBS colleague, saying Dickerson has “way too much dignity to trade insults with a president of the United States to his face.”

And then Colbert finished it off with the most scathing line of them all: “In fact, the only thing your mouth is good for is being Vladimir Putin’s c**k holster,” which elicited gasps from the studio audience.(snip)

Will Colbert get suspended for crossing the line like this? We strongly doubt it.

As with most Progressive liberal leftists, there is no bottom level they won’t go under.
The most famous get extra credit for vulgarity and efforts to shut any two way discussion down. All you have to do is listen to Tom Perez and other Democrats.
Colbert's late night appearance have not been dominating the late night competition. More are turning to Jimmy Fallon making him desperate to up his own vitriol.
The FCC should go after Colbert for his violation of it'd decency rules. This was not cable TV ya know.
Then again I don't watch Colbert in general. This goes back to when he was on Cable TV at the Comedy Central.

 

Since Colbert is about as homo as an 18 dollar bill himself, I am sure it was NOT a slur against homo's.

Maybe just an ironic pun.

 

Seth Meyers uses extreme profanity too.

This is currently the in thing on late nite tv.

Has nothing to do with homo.

"have never witnessed such a vile, obscene and uncalled for attack on the President of our country as I saw on The Late Show. A juvenile rant that embarrassed the viewership and the country and more important your network and it’s producers for believing this poses as “entertainment”. This is why I rarely watch your network and will continue not to do so. It insults my intelligence and sense of humor."

 

Colbert's show is too homo for my tolerance level.

 

Colbert is a loser.

 

Pretty clear he was insulting him for sucking Putin's ****, not sucking **** in general.

 

Can someone explain what was so shocking here. The only thing shocking here is that there is actually is a guy in The Oval Office that this stuff genuinely applies to.

Hmm. What if a RW talk show host called Nancy Pelosi a "cum dumpster" on national television? What would your reaction to that be?

That you don't see the problem with this kind of slur, let alone the homophobic nature of it, explains the degree to which your cognitive capacity is clouded by bias. The -first- impulse of ANYONE hearing this about ANYONE on television should be "that's awful," with no hesitation whatsoever.

 

That Colbert slays me with his brand of humor, keep it up...

 

I guess it's a good deal that Limbaugh never made it onto television with his program.

 

Of course you don't answer the question, why would I expect that of a LW poster here?

You must be young, Limbaugh did have a TV show back in the 90s. And re: his Sandra Fluke brouhaha, calling someone a "slut" in an environment of feminists constantly talking about "slut shaming" and "slut marches" is nowhere remotely near what Colbert did.

What's shocking is how comfortable Hollywood, and MSM are with insulting the president. Colbert spews vulgarities for the sake of entertainment ... and the only problem liberals have with Colberts profanity laced diatribe is that his coup de gras is homophobic. Truely sickening.

Trump is a ****** bag who does not give a rat's arse if someone drops dead from his anti-environmental despicable polices and a host of other things that he has done and can do to harm others. He does not deserve anything better than the seeds that he sows. He's not worth the saliva of a spit in his eye. The POS idolizes and honors murderous dictators because he is as anti-American as anyone can be ever be.

 

Colbert's rant will be evaluated by the number of viewers that decide not view his show any longer.

 

So... yeah, hopelessly cognitively impaired by irrational bias. Got it.

Colbert's rant was funny.

And above all, Trump DESERVED it.

Hopefully Colbert keeps it up.
