How did you get from my post that I am in favor of single-payer? Put down the whiskey bottle. You have lost your ability to read!

Like I said, you didn't even know subscription fire service existed. Pathetic! How long have you lived in this nation? You don't seem to know very much about it!

Really? Then how does single-payer keep from suffering the same fate Obamacare is suffering?

A colonoscopy result is not an outcome.

An outcome has to do with a course of treatment over time. For example, what is the best course for handling the possibility of colon cancer? That may involve colonoscopy, examination of history for when a colonoscopy might be called for, etc.

You aren't just flailing - you're making ludicrous claims in support of a proposition that has been proven false.

but you don't want to do it in your state, so... your opinion doesn't matter.

See,, your hypocrisy is clear to everybody. You know it's all BS, which is why you don't want to do it at the state level where it is constitutional. You hold out for doing it at the federal level where it isn't constitutional.

bleh... you are a waste of time.

Of course I want it in my state. I want it in the entire country. It's completely constitutional. And that is the model proven to work

Not in the entire country, no.

So just really, you're just blowing hot air. Let us know how it goes in your state and then get back to us. Until then....

    just hot air

Single payer is too easily corrupted. The costs can be rigged. And in some cases, unless your life is in immediate danger, it can takes weeks or months to even see a doctor.

It would be better to have a market based system with a public option for those who can not afford private insurance. The public option could be paid for by raising the FICA cap, instead of a insurance mandate. And to cut prices, do away with the interstate sales ban.

    Thanks for your answer.

Here's another question having to do with natural rights, the subject you brought up: Do you think that it was just for the Spartans to keep the helots as slaves?

I'm currently waiting 4 weeks for an appointment now.

Although I agree a public option is a great idea...possibly paid for by premiums . Heck employers could jump into that as well. No reason NOT to have a mandate under those circumstances in order that people don't cheap out and try and rely on luck or ERs

No it isn't. It's based upon the constitution.
is not a legal document, and has no legal weight what so ever.
I can easily refute their views of natural rights.

Please provide a list of these natural rights, and show us where they are written.

No such thing as natural rights. Only legal/constitutional rights.

As far as the Spartans, I don't know enough about their laws, to provide an answer to that.

One of the moderators, @Lesh, asked me to stop derailing this thread. So I started another thread with the same question. I will reply in that thread.

If doctors are paid for outcomes and the result of a colonoscopy is not an outcome then how does the doctor get paid for doing the colonoscopy? If nothing is found then there will be further treatment. Does the doctor just have to do this for free? How about the nurses and equipment involved? Are the nurses supposed to work for free? Is the equipment supposed to be provided for free?

Did you even bother to think about what you posted?

No, I have what the Founding Fathers considered to be general welfare on my side, i.e. Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution!
