The Boy Scouts of America distance themselves from Trump

I guess the parents placed lots of calls to the organization and I hope that they had a talk with their kids about how authoritarianism and fascism is not what the USA stands for.

 

I'll bet trump can't even wipe his ass without making a mess of it.

 

I mean why couldn't he just be like the 8 presidents before him and keep the speech apolitical?

What they should have said was that they apologize for the shocking behavior of their guest speaker. He was not a Scout. He doesn't understand or share the principles or values cherished by, or the ideals aspired to by Scouts. He is not an example for young men to follow. In fact he is the antithesis of our values and he will never be invited to speak at a Scouting event again.

 

I totally agree that their response was not strong enough considering how bizarre, off the wall and totally inappropriate his shtick was.

 

He knows of no other way to be. Trump has a one dimensional personality.

Who has THE WORST approval rating is the Democratic Party.

President Trump is doing G R E A T in the polls that matter and the Democratic Party is in the toilet for the polls that matter.

Fact is the scouts CHEERED President Trump and BOOED President Obama. The President certainly won the "poll" of the thousands of scouts at the jamboree.

The cutesy, worthless and quaint speeches written by a speech writer others may have given are truly wasted time, insulting to the scouts and trivializes the presidency.

The President is the Chief Executive Officer of the United States, the Commander In Chief of our military and the highest ranking politician in the country. His speech absolutely SHOULD have been political and about government since that is what he represents, rather than acting like he's all the scouts' fathers or some secular preacher in a pulpit.

Reading Democrats posting about polls they claim matter usually is like they are someone who loses a game of chess, ranting that the other person cheated, that really they won because the captured more pieces so the checkmate was a trick, and then throws the table over running out of the room sobbing and shouting "he cheated! He cheated! Its not fair!"

They do not cite polls that matter - independent voters in swing states. Those ALWAYS go for Trump. In addition, Trump's supporters have hardened after 1 million personal attacks by Democrats against them and 1 million lies ranted about the President. To the contrary, 40 percent of partisan Democrats - THE core supporters - say the Democratic Party no longer represents them or cares about them.

THOSE are the polls that matter. Democrats want to poll mostly other Democrats and people who don't vote at all. EVERY poll of WaPo, NYT, ABC, and CBS deliberately over polls Democrats if you read the demographics OR they poll EVERYONE irrelevant to whether they are voters. Those are all worthless.

Hilary Clinton, among her many excuses, even claims the bias polling for her hurt her in the election because people were falsely told she was a shoe-in, so some of her voters stayed home and it prevented them from realizing the problems they had in Florida, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and Penn. Many Democrats have the view that if they can create a poll that shows they are winning then this means they really are - preferring fantasy over reality.

 

Yes, that is what many Democrats want children to be taught - that the United States is an authoritarian and fascist country... because hating the USA is one of the acid tests to being a loyal member of the Democratic Party...

... except of course when you are posting that instead of all that, the President is incapable of accomplishing anything, meaning he is the diametric opposite of an authoritarian.

Blabbering gibberish from a person who have ZERO clue what the Scouting Organization and what it's about. Instead of setting an example of leadership and provide an inspiration speech, Trump decide to talk about.....crowd size and badger his predecessors. It should be noted none of the scouts in my troop or its leadership condone the behavior of a baby. His behavior is mentioned as NOT what to do. The fact you defend such a man baby for his sad, pathetic behavior, reflect much on you.
