Austrian court convicts man who questioned gassing of Jews in WWII An Austrian court has found a 34 y.o.man, who claimed on Face Book the mass killings of Jews in gas chambers under Adolf Hitler was a story made up by Jews, guilty of violating the country’s anti-Nazi laws and sentenced him to a suspended 12-month prison term. This man also called Muslims "vermin" on FB. For that he had to pay a penalty of 1,440 euros ($1,690). http://www.timesofisrael.com/austrian-court-convicts-man-who-questioned-gassing-of-jews-in-wwii/ ---------- How nice of Austria to make sure people mind their manners and also don't stray from the truth! I wonder how Ursula Haverbeck is doing. She had to go to jail in Germany for the same thing. In November she will be 89! I hope she has an ok time in jail. Warning: Watch what you write on Facebook... there are always snitches who love to rat on people.
I'm sure they were pressured by the Zionists/Jews. Here is a map that shows the countries that prosecute holocaust deniers...
Australia is sick. Putting people in jail for being mentally ill, and having tendencies toward paranoia and conspiracy theories, is disgusting behavior. As far as calling muslims vermin. That is rather subjective and therefore true according to the values and principles of the person who holds them. The greater question is why does this person believe this? If people can speak their mind and express themselves, you can alleviate them of their ignorance or assumptions about various groups. If you punish them they will just keep their thoughts hidden and continue to share them within safe groups and potentially create more dangerous situations like were a person thinks their country is falling into the hands of muslims who are terrorists and so he has to do something and decides to shoot up a mosque. A world where people resort to force, law, or violence to change minds is not a world of reason. I want to live in a world were people debate, discuss, and present the facts in order to change hearts and minds. I want to have the freedom to think for myself and not to be forced into it. I want to find the truth in reason and facts and not be told what to believe and punished if i do not believe it.
Sorry, I have to correct you... it is not Australia, but Austria where this is happening right now. Austria is a small country in Europe, next to Germany, where they also speak German. Hitler was born in Austria! Otherwise I wholeheartedly agree with you on having open discussions on delicate issues, like the holocaust. Especially the German people, who are accused of having gassed 6 million Jews, should be allowed to investigate, search and probe this horrendous deed for themselves.
I see, my earlier map disappeared! Here you can read which countries forbid the holocaust denial: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laws_against_Holocaust_denial Add Canada to that!
Why it is illegal to deny that the holocaust happened? Its stupid I know but why is it illegal and punishable by imprisonment?? I read somewhere that less than 3% of people deny the Holocause really happened if you look at the stats for climate change, roughly, less than 3% do not belive it is happening... ergo is it going to be illegal to deny climate change and thus get slammed in clink?? Consequences of denying the holocaust.... Consequences of denying climate change....
Good point. I think it has to do with the Jewish people and their memory of their perished family members. Climate change is a theory, not a living being.
Yeah true. If you believe the doom mongers though denial will cause planetary catastrophe...... anyway thats a different subject.
A simple question: how do these doubters explain the footage of the extermination camps? I mean there's plenty of it, especially when they were being liberated by western forces. Do they think it was all staged?
Here is a pretty good video narrative by David Cole, who's sincerity I do not doubt. Listen to him here: I received my first shock and doubt when I read the little booklet called "The Hoax of the Twentieth Century" sometime at the end of the 90ies. In the meantime there is a wealth of material available that deals with the holocaust. There are threads here in the forum as well where you can indulge yourself. But ask yourself, why are people not allowed to question the official holocaust story? What do the Jews want to hide? Is it not enough that the German Government has acknowledged the German's guilt and is paying reparations? Is it not enough that the German Brass got prosecuted in Nuremberg and hung? Is it not enough that the Israelis sentenced and hung Eichmann? I guess not.
Great law. The government doesn't like or agree with the way you think or speak, they take away your freedom and throw you in jail. Freedom of expression, and freedom of speech can be dangerous to dictators, tyrants, and terrorists. It's the same thing the terrorists do, to a lesser degree. The terrorists slit your throat, behead you, or stone you to death, but imprisonment is a start in that direction.
Just found this fantastic information site which shows you all the countries that have a law against denial. Also a list with all the names of the "bad" people who dared to deny, starting off with Ahmadinejad, ending with the 88 year old Ursula Haverbeck of last year. She was lucky, only got 10 months instead of the usual 3 to 5 years. I find it criminal to incarcerate such old people for something so harmless as having a different opinion as the Government prescribes. She hasn't harmed anybody in any way. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laws_against_Holocaust_denial
To deny the holocaust is on very good reason a crime. Specially in this case, where he had accused "the Jews" - or with other words: the victims of this genocide - to be liars. I'm not able to imagine to call relatives of murdered persons a "liar" is in the USA not a crime. And Ursula Haverbeck is an 89 years old Nazi - we could call her even a leading Nazi - or with other words: a leading member of terroristic organizations. She knows very well what she is doing. She is old but not unfit for prison.
It's idiotic to "deny" the climate change. But not to trust in facts and science is not a crime. The difference: The Holocaust is a factual crime - the climate change is a difficult physical and political problem. The ugly political side: intentional disinformation and to force scientists to say what the government likes to hear.
Well, Haverbeck was 16 or 17 years old in 1945. How much could she have observed herself of the holocaust? Like the rest of us she relies on testimony from other people and on research done years afterwards. From what I remember from her interview, she wants to have proof that millions were gassed in Auschwitz. She wanted a dialog with the Jewish organization in Germany and also with the German Government. Nobody responded to her inquiring letters. Why were they all silent? It would have been easy to show her the evidence, if there was so much overwhelming evidence available. But the authorities don't even allow an honest discussion of the issue.
Completely unimportant. 1.1 -1.4 million people were gassed there. I know personally a woman who survived Auschwitz - and I know someone not, whom I should know normally, because he was gassed in Auschwitz-Birkenau. Not everyone likes to speak with every idiot. Take a look at the film "Schindler's list" then you will have a very good inspiration about the world of the Nazis. Steven Spielberg made this film very realistic and very good. Are you crazy? How many Germans are in prison because they deny the Holocaust? One, two or three? About what do you like to start to discuss because no one is honestly discussing about? About Auschwitz? Where do you live? In our galaxy or far from our galaxy?
O.k., why don't you list some of the facts that support the truth of the holocaust. I'm interested to finally have some real proof which I can tell others without getting ridiculed. I already know about the pile of corpses (they apparently died of typhus.) I heard about the Hoess confession (he was severely tortured) What other evidence is there? O.k., I googled:: In addition to official photography and films produced at the behest of the Nazi state, German soldiers and police took numerous photographs and film footage of German operations against Jews and other civilians. They documented the public humiliation of Jews, their deportation, mass murder, and confinement in concentration camps. This became powerful visual evidence of Nazi war crimes submitted at Nuremberg. For example, Allied prosecutors submitted the so-called “Stroop Report,” which included as an appendix an album of photographs taken on the orders of SS and Police Leader Jürgen Stroop to document his destruction of the Warsaw ghetto uprising in spring 1943. According to Stroop's own calculations, his forces captured more than 55,000 Jews and of these, killed at least 7,000 and sent 7,000 more to the Treblinka killing center. Further visual documentation came from the US Army Signal Corps, which, in the course of photographing and filming American operations in World War II, also played a crucial role in documenting evidence of Nazi atrocities and the Holocaust. On November 29, 1945, the IMT prosecution introduced an hour-long film titled "The Nazi Concentration Camps." When the lights came up in the Palace of Justice all assembled sat in silence. The human impact of this visual evidence was a turning point in the Nuremberg trial. It brought the Holocaust into the courtroom. Eyewitness testimony from both perpetrators and survivors laid the foundation for much of what we know about the Holocaust, including details of the Auschwitz death machinery, atrocities committed by the Einsatzgruppen and other SS and police units, the destruction of the Warsaw ghetto, and the original statistical estimate of six million murdered Jews. Many people directly involved in the killing program died before the end of the war, but the Allies interrogated many of those who were still alive in preparation for the trial. None of the perpetrators denied the Holocaust. Most just tried to deflect their responsibility for the killings. Three key perpetrators gave evidence directly related to the Holocaust: Hermann Göring, the highest official of the Nazi state tried at Nuremberg, testified openly and frankly about the persecution of German Jews from the rise of the Nazi party to power in 1933 until the outbreak of war in 1939; Otto Ohlendorf testified directly about his unit, Einsatzgruppe D, killing 90,000 Jews in the southern Ukraine in 1941; and the commandant of Auschwitz, Rudolf Hoess, testified frankly about the gassing of more than a million Jews at the Auschwitz-Birkenau killing center during the war. All three claimed that they carried out the legitimate orders of the state. * * * The Americans found and hauled away 6 tons of documents, yet they didn't find the official order Goering, Ohlendorf and Hoess are referring to. Why didn't the Americans simply write up a fake one? Would have been so easy. My German relatives of that time had no foggy idea of what was being done to the Jews. They knew they were sent to concentration camps, but so were Communists and Germans who talked bad about Hitler. Now, after 72 years, both countries, Israel and Germany, are doing well and have sort of reconciled. That is the main and important thing. The only thing needed still is an amnesty for hc deniers. What harm could they possibly do with their different opinion? They are like peanuts in an ocean. Also, the holocaust narrative would be much more believable, if it wasn't forbidden to talk about it, much less to question it. By criminalizing doubt of the holocaust a conspiracy has been created... what are they trying to hide from us? they must be lying! Being of German heritage, I find it hard to believe my kinsfolk committed such a horrendous crime. That's why I search for evidence that would show they didn't do it or it was less than half as bad. There is a belief that all our deeds are recorded in the Akashic Records.
To be a Holocaust denier is not an opinion. To be a holocaust denier is a crime in a similar way how the membership in a terroristic organization is a crime. It are not the descendants of the victims of a genocide, who should have to suffer because criminals did a genocide and criminals deny a genocide. The holocaust is as real as 9/11 is real. So who gives any Islamist the right to deny the victims of 9/11 and to call "liars" their suffering relatives - or their friends - or anyone in the USA who suffers because of this crime? That's a crime too. Such a person has to leave Islamism and all organizations of Islamism and has to stop to call suffering people "liars", because of the own murderous sadism. If someone is not able to stop to hurt people verbally who are in an existential crisis because they lost important persons, then he has to be isolated in a prison - the place, where dangerous persons have to live. A good joke. You like to feel well, so others should feel bad, because you have what? A German heritage? Germans don't deny the holocaust. Here speaks a man with German heritage - he is a Jew:
The fact remains that nobody knows how many people were killed in the holocaust. What we do know is that when they were "liberated" Stalin let his soldiers rape, kill or death-rape as many as they wanted to. They had a meth-fueled orgy of bloody violence. Germans of fighting age were executed by the russians and the women and children were taken sex slaves. The spoils of war.
Bad example! You might as well lock up whole nations including Israel! Of course not, unless they want to sit in jail and pay hefty fines as well. O.k., and here speaks an American man of Jewish heritage: https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...07F8116BD75C851B2D6D07F8116&FORM=VIRE[/quote]
Japan's deputy prime minister is in hot water after saying that Hitler had right motivations for killing millions of Jews. Aso is supportive of National Socialism and has made a serious of comments to back it up in the past. I don't know why he can still keep his job and the Trump administration should send a note to Abe to get him fired.
Well, if he said that Hitler is still bad, then he said the right thing and everybody is o.k. with that.
